Look at it as a form of advertisement without the need to create a fancy image.  By advertising a certain coin, service or platform in your forum signature, that message will be visible to anyone browsing the same topics as the ones you posted in.  This is also why all forum signatures require you to post a minimum number of posts on a weekly/monthly basis.

If your rank goes up, you can put an advertisement of a company in your signature. You need to be Jr. Member or higher because only these ranks can put links in their signature.

You need to upgrade you rank, some signature campaigns accept "Member" which can be reached pretty quick. It takes months to get "Full Member" and a lot more to reach "Sr.Member". The increase of activity happens every 14 days.
Also, take into account if your English is not at least decent, you will most likely get kicked from the signature campaign.

No, Bitbin.io pays 0.0001BTC per post for member. It isn't really worth your time as they don't pay very high and member can't post very constructively with the 20 post per week goal in mind and furthermore, its only 0.002 for 20 post. A job at your local madonalds gets you more than that.
