It is a very slow process.  It takes more and more time on bigger ranks.    Get to where you enjoy the forums and don't pay attention to it to much.

Biggest thing is to hit full member in my mind.  That opens up a lot of good signature campaigns.  Also allows more to be done in your signature spot.

Your activity will increase every biweekly period, maximum increasing is 14 points if you make 14 posts in that period.
No problem if you can't make 14 posts in that period, you can "save" potential activity by just make one post, and post later for rest of activity increasing.

Increase of rank is a very slow process. It'll take you,  120 days to become a full member and so on.
And also, you have to have an average of 1 post a day, you don't necessarily have to post everyday, just an average of one a day.
