to have like so sub forums for each of like the top 5 to 10 mining vid cards where peeps can share the overclocking settings and stuff so it is much easier to find the info for your specific card when you come looking for it. like what you used to achieve your rates and stuff like that, i think it would be good for the new guys coming in and might reduce the clutter in some of the other forums.

for an example, and i get this info from the wiki

there is a 5830 listed there doing 307, granted it gives the core speed of 996 and which sdk they using and there miner settings, but not how they got their core to 996, which 5830 it was, stuff like that.

the wiki is great but its just a little vague to me and it wouldn't be that hard for peeps to do write ups and share with each other and teach those that need teaching.

just a thought, vote and i guess ill see if my idea was dumb or not lol.

also please explain why not if you vote no, the other 3 are self explanatory
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No, because that's just a lot of clutter on the forums.

Better if someone started a forum just for mining, to be honest.

how would it be clutter? it would be sub forums more than likely under the technical forum, and we have a forum just for mining, but its full of stuff not related to mining, like card settings and stuff lol.
also not arguing with you, just trying to get you point of view and maybe see something i am missing with this idea, thanks.
