Can you describe what exactly happens? Also You might be able to get more help if you move this to the spectrum sub forum.

1. Which OS are you using? Windows?
2. Is it crashing after opening or Electrum doesn't open at all?
3. Do you have backup of the seed?

your wallet file is located here:
C:\Users\{your PC UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Electrum\wallets\default_wallet
you can copy it somewhere safe for backup.

or if you have your wallet seed, you can simply use that for recovering your wallet. i suggest to reinstall electrum, maybe it solves the problem. but before that check your taskmanager to see if electrum is running at all or not or if it returned any error when you opened it

With an older version of Electrum (1.9.7) present I tried running the standalone executable v2.2 and had the same issue. Then I installed it from the setup executable (in a separate directory, keeping the older version intact) and it still wouldn't start. It turns out that when I renamed the file \Electrum\config (under AppData or wherever it is located, depending on OS) it was able to start normally.
