I would stay in Bitcoin because thanks to it, I've increase my knowledge and helped understand cryptography better as well.  Also, one thing that have always attracted me of Bitcoin, is its decentralized nature. Therefore, you gain control of your own money and not greedy banks Cheesy

I would stay too, i like the whole bitcoin itself.
Through 1-2 years i have learned a lot for bitcoin but never is enough.
If i choose one time to leave then maybe it will be when bitcoin will shut down.

I guess it all comes down to how much you have invested?  Did you purchase coins when they were 800 dollars?  Hoping they will get back up?  Did you purchase when they were mere cents, or dollars?  There is no right answer it all depends on the situation you are in.

I will say we have sort of flatlined with Bitcoins at this price for about 8 months now?  That is pretty consistent if you ask me, who knows what will happen when the future comes but it seems like Bitcoin isn't going anywhere...

This year has been very slow for Bitcoin. Its price has been near the $220 - $240. I guess that it will take longer than expected to see an increase in price (perhaps 4 to 5 years?)  Sad  Even still, I'm staying in Bitcoin because I believe in it and have faith that it would become mainstream someday in the future.

I think it is so early to leave the bitcoin community and its technology.
Bitcoin is just in the early stage and will be developed much more in near future.
I got motivated today by a mining farm in China if anyone want to watch here is the link:https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=535&v=K8kua5B5K3I

Something like this I would like to set up in the future. A cloud mining service which is truly legit and transparent with the ability to mine the majority of cryptos, including Ethereum as well. If I'm ever going to do this, I'm going to need some planning and calculations (electricity, maintenance, etc) to establish such service.  Smiley

Without a defining killer app, I am confident that Bitcoin will, in fits and starts, inevitably return to its 2009 levels. It would be pointless to guess how long that process will take; or when that killer app will appear although I am also confident it will appear at some entirely unpredictable point.

I'm easily old enough to remember the very early days of personal computers. I remember a story from The Wall Street Journal in which a reporter interviewed a small-business owner (I think an auto-repair shop) who had bought an Apple II. The reporter asked the man what he thought of his purchase. The man stared glumly at the Apple for a moment and then sourly commented: "The damn thing just sits there."

Exactly. The world was just never going to buy into a command-prompt environment in a really big way. But the Mac came along and then the world began to change. (Be like the Mac! Bill Gates commanded his troops developing Windows 95.) And so it will be with Bitcoin. The world will never buy into it until an environment comes along that makes it easier, safer, and a lot more fun to use. Until then, the price will suffer periodic whale-dumps and then sort of bounce, spurt, and finally just roll along long enough for people to start talking (again) about "Bitcoin's recent price stability." And then yet another whale-dump will splash the water and the retroactively obvious cycle will begin again.

If you decide to go, then you will miss out on the killer app that will send Bitcoin to the moon and beyond. If you decide to stay, then you will watch the value of your stash just ebb away before your eyes. That choice defines your control.

As for me, for now I'm going to stay. But I've got Coinbase and can go in a second. That could happen at any time too.

[Comment added June 23, 2015:

My conclusion: stay. The blockchain itself will be the killer app upon which all other apps and bitcoins' fiat value will depend.]

I'd stay.

Agreed with you, We have worked so hard on earning bitcoins so it would be foolishness if we leave at a moment. Bitcoin needs a support from us and everyone to regain its value So I don't think it would be wise to leave in between we should continue with the bitcoins.

Yes no one can preditc the future with 100% accuracy, but can guess some 70% to 80% with some calculations. What bitcoin did in his life so far, it will repeat them in future too. Crystal clear predictions may be accuracy more than 80%

Hold your bitcoins, keep it safe and secure and be patient. You don't have to follow each day what is happening in Bitcoinland. But keep yourself updated a few times a month so that you always know if bigger happenings are going on or not so that you will be able to react if you have to.

There are no possibility of bitcoin crashing. Bitcoin has survived many years, so we can be confident it's completely bug free. History will repeat. So, bitcoin prices will repeat it's growth and the growth of bitcoin will take it to as a global currency.

Even if bitcoin is bug free at the moment, when the new functions are added, so will the bug.

Who know that bitcoin will not crash to 100$ for example?
It has survived many years but there is no guarantee that the price will not go down again.
But i think that bitcoin is going good, and many big company will implement to accept payment through bitcoin soon.
