I'm far from an expert but bitcoin XT is basically a patch set on top of Bitcoin Core that so far allows relaying of double spends and support for querying the UTXO set (useful for apps that use partial transactions). The plan is to incease the block size to 20MB (the number's still being debated) which will allow more transactions in each block (increases the number transactions per second).

It's being developed by Mike Hearn  https://github.com/bitcoinxt/bitcoinxt

There's a much better explanation about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1076316.0

How about the GUI ? is it the same ? because I didn't understand it very well when you said set on top of Bitcoin Core and should we debug that project on Github our selfs to be able to use it ? there is no executable or DLL or whatever we need to just put it in a folder or something and just run it ? Shocked
any more informations are appreciated guyz

it's the same client, with some features added nothing crazily different, for now i don't think there is the exe ready, you need to compile it yourself using the code from github, yes

but no reason to hurry, it will be announced as a standard upgrade in the right time

Like other said, it has internal features, functions wise it does unique things too, but i dont think they are very user friendly.
The thing is, there will be no problems. People will have to reach consensus by either running the XT client or the Core client. Whoever client reaches 90% wins. If XT reaches 90%, the hard fork happens. Where the fuck would the problem be if 90% of people that actually support Bitcoin, are supporting XT? thats the definition of reached consensus.

Damn Shocked Well thanks for your answers guys both of you .
I guess I will simply wait for them to finish it , because I really don't wanna bother my self with debugging and stuff even if I have some decent knowledge in programming . gonna close the thread now
