They don't answer to my support ticket
more than two days have passed
Well this is a normal problem with a trading site, just wait for their response and probably they are flooded with support tickets and they are trying to resolved it one-by-one. I trust them, I used them for a few times and I can say that I don't have any complains on their system. I don't even experience any single problem on them.

I used to trust Poloniex until Their site went down and I've been unable to withdraw my money. I checked their Twitter account and they only said "They're aware and working on it". Three days later, Still nothing yet. I just started trading there but now I'm disappointed. To think They're the biggest exchange with high volume daily.
BTw, Some users on Twitter already accusing them of fraud.

the best rule to follow is DONT put into any exchange what you cannot afford to lose.
nothing is prefect nor is it fail proof
You are right and losing crypto currency in exchangers are part of risk except losing values in digital coins, usually the problem on exchangers is hacking issue and security of website btw personality I am trust in poloniex, never get serious problem with use this service and respond their costumers service is very fast in my experience when I have got big problem.

I have an account at Poloniex, Kraken, Bitstamp, Bitfinex and several others. With Poloniex I never had any issue, and I like its quantity of currency pairs. All exchanges have different confirmation times for the transactions, I see this as a normal thing. Sadly, we just discover the customer service quality when we need them.

Do you want to make money +3000%? Yes - put bitcoins in poloniex and keep them there for buying and selling shitcoins
Or, if you want safe but slow increase - Buy XMR/BTC/ETH etc and store in cold storage and sell when ATH.

I suggest you and everyone who has much money there to start withdrawing at least for now, we don't know what can happen and when things like this start happening (site down, system failing) it's time to take our money and store on another place. If you don't have much money there you don't have much to worry, no problem...

I'm pleased with poloneix, I have an account at BTC-E there are minimum amounts for trading much higher, for example 0.1 DASH is the minimum to buy or sell, which is for me a lot if I do not want to invest that much. and anyway on poloneix rates sooner or later pump up

OK, I've been trading on Poloniex for quite a long time, and I'm used to making money using Poloniex, but yes, they are ripping me off! Here's how it works: every time NXT value is rising, NXT deposits take forever. Today was the 3rd time it happened to me. I noticed a similar thing when a NXT withdrawal could make me money, and with XRP transfers. Meanwhile I made a BTC deposit, and it went smoothly. Want proof? This is my deposit: https://mynxt.info/transaction/2400609104522205574https://s7.postimg.org/cc1zbh33v/scr1.pngNotice the number of confirmations (time zones might be confusing, but i sent it about 50 minutes ago). And then Poloniex picked it up and processed internally (again notice the time and the number of confirmations): https://s22.postimg.org/fj5m5e929/scr2.pngAnd here's what they're showing to me - false number of confirmations and they're saying it was sent only 15-17 minutes ago: https://s30.postimg.org/bvw0rjv81/scr3.pngTL;DR: They're holding my deposit until I can't make money on it. And maybe, meanwhile, they sold my NXT, then bought it at a lower rate and made profit. Same for others. When I can finally use my deposits, NXT will be low again. Collaboration between the exchange and the pumpers, as said elsewhere. Sorry to ruin your mood, but it's real. Bonus: I couldn't write in their trollbox after I commented about NXT deposits, then wrote something else and it appeared, then mentioned NXT deposits again and I can't write again. No ban. The text just doesn't show to others. [Sorry for repeating this post, but I'd say it's relevant to this subject as well]

I don’t get why people think that Poloniex who makes tons of money, amount of money to small (and even mediocre) traders can have or trade just decides to steal your money or at least make more profit using your money.
Look at their exchange fee’s, than look at all the volume on their coins, combine both and you can calculate almost how much they make, they don’t need to hold your coins and make a petty small return. Its just absurd to even consider that.

No, I don't trust them. Every company is susceptible to be hacked, and Poloniex exchange is no exception. I trust my cold storage better than their servers constantly attacked/ddsoed by hackers.
One thing is certain, if they get compromised, they won't refund your coins. It has happened to other bigger exchanges and it can happen again. I would not use any exchange as a secure wallet.

I would like to point out that when I (and probably most people) say that I trust Poloniex I mean I don't think they are a scam, not that they are invulnerable or should be used as a web wallet.

Poloniex was got hacked and busoni/tristan has repaid full from his own money (he has deducted from all people's balance first, but he recorded and repaid in full from the fees which poloniex got). Why we can't trust them then? I take full responsibility for this and am committed to repaying the debt of BTC. The exchange funds are 12.3% short. Because there is not enough BTC to cover everyone's balances, all balances will temporarily be deducted by 12.3%. Please understand that this is an absolute necessity--if I did not make this adjustment, people would most likely withdraw all their BTC as soon as possible in order to make sure they weren't left in that remaining 12.3%. Aside from the obvious drawback of most of the BTC being taken out of the exchange, this would not be fair--some people would get all of their money right away, and a few would get none right away.
The amount deducted from everyone's balances will be recorded, and funds raised from exchange fees, as well as donations from my own pocket (which is not very deep, I'm afraid), will be distributed regularly to all users who have had BTC deducted. Exchange fees will be raised to expedite the recovery of the debt. 1.5% has been suggested by many people, but I will take input on this. Exchange fees will not be raised.
If I had the money to cover the entire debt right now, I would cover it in a heartbeat. I simply don't, and I can't just pull it out of thin air. Link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=499580.msg5499870#msg5499870

I don't trust any of the markets. Markets have gone down before and some will go down in the future. You should always store as much as possible off the exchange.

Yes I do trust Poloniex! 100% of crypto currency traders has a Poloniex account, and majority of them are trading also there. Why do you ask, do you have any issues with Poloniex?

Yeah. So far Poloniex looks trusted for almost crypto trader out there. Although they just delist some alt-coins on their trading platform, it didn't have any bad effect on their reputation so far. Never had such bad experience on them, so far, so good. But the moment I hear someone cries scam on them. I will be the first one to move out.

Majority of us do not trust exchanges but we still use them occasionally, if not everyday. We have decentralized p2p exchanges that working and they are good and secure but very small percentage actually use them. Wich is strange?! Few yers before all talks were about decentralzation and comprimised excanges.
