"Within the next century." I've seen more than enough 12 month timeframes surpassed.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

We need to wrap this up.

We've been talking about getting regulatory clarity in NY since summer of last year. We've had two comment periods. It's time to WRAP IT UP. How long do you think an adult life is? We've been working on this for a year now. Most people don't make it to age 100. Most people are idiots until age 20+. Why are we working on this preliminary regulatory framework as if we live 1000 year lifespans? We don't. And the framework is almost certainly going to change anyway.

I've personally e-mailed Gemini's staff and they say that Gemini is complete. They are waiting on the Bitlicense. They actually want to abide by your little rules and this is how Lawsky repays them. He's sitting around watching spelling bees. This is fucking ridiculous and I'm angry. It's 2015.  Bitfinex, Bitstamp, and Bter hacked in the past 6 months. OKCoin lying to auditors and using bots that trade with fake BTC. Still no ETF. Still no Bitlicense. I've personally had Coinbase, my banks, and other services UP MY ASS, asking me about my transactions. Limiting my transactions. Restricting my accounts. Not letting me move my own money around.

Transactions were delayed for 8 HOURS yesterday after a handful of people stresstested the system. A handful of people. And we're still sitting around debating dynamic block resizing. There's no time to debate. The system is live.

WRAP IT UP, LAWSKY. WRAP IT UP, SEC. WRAP IT UP, CORE DEVELOPMENT TEAM

We're in a funk. It's time to break out of it. Let's move.

Gemini is going to be a bust like GBTC.  Don't get too excited.

Anything waiting on Bitlicense is probably going to have the volume of Cryptsy.

Coinbases business plan is 40% selling Bitcoins, 50% doxxing customers/snitching and 10% pump and dump... probably wise to get away from them.

They do it all while hiding in their "secret" office on One Front Street in San Fran.  Which pisses me the fuck off because I've got these cock sucking snitch scammers in my very own back yard Undecided.

Anyone who did anything maybe possibly questionable at any point with a Coinbase account maybe better off trying to eliminate them... just throwing that out there.

Coinbase is 100% about "compliance" (i.e. surveillance). If anyone is doing anything directly with their Coinbase coins, they are idiots.

But anyway, I'm just sick of all this shit, man. The lies and the hacks and the incompetence. I feel like we should be way farther ahead by now. I feel that I've done more than my part, including holding more coins than most for longer than most. I've spent so many fucking hundreds of hours spreading this gospel in multiple countries for free.

It's time for me to take a long break from this. Move on with my life. Keep my coins until 2021.

"Benjamin Lawsky" is an intelligence agent working out of Chuck Schumer's office.  Don't ever sign up for nonsense "licenses" to use Bitcoin.

...

Anything is right!

Even if you are selling Bitcoins to the little old lady on the corner so she can buy cows for a third world family. Coinbase could rat you out as being a money transfer or falsely accuse you of something you didn't do.

My Coinbase account was turned off after calling out their bullshit Pump and Dump piggy backing off a week of positive news.

There reason for banning me: I used their services too much and I wasn't interest in telling some scamming stranger my life fucking story...  Roll Eyes

no i tend to think they gave you the boot because you help operate and promote illegal websites. I'm glad they have enough common sense to freeze accounts of known scammers like you!  >> see: VIRAL "escrow"

A: no sites I'm on, promote or operate are illegal.

lol look at your history of promoting and moderating illegal gambling sites! Yeah i'm glad coinbase froze your account , had nothing to do with your trolling them! * you are a stupid trying to paint the most upright company in bitcoinland as a bad player because they don't support gambling and illegal share offerings(and god knows what else) You are just pissed regulators decided to reign in on scammers like you !  Just keep your operations underground it might buy you some time? hmmmm Shocked

I used coinbase only to buy coins.  After I got them I moved them to other wallets or places like hashnest.  For me they were easy to deal with.  The only problem was it took a whole week to get the funds transferred from the back which is a bit much imo.  But their customer service was great when I had a question.

'End of May - At The Latest'.
Lawsky was lying then the scum bag, fed us a load of crap just before he defected to set up his own crypto advising company.
I wonder when we'll ever see this BitLicense regulation, what's the hold up here?
I fail to see why after all the previous delays it hasn't materialised AGAIN!!!!!

At this point it seems that the project is abandoned? Why isn't this guy addressing it on his twitter? it's like hes avoiding the subject. The thing is, if BitLicense came out, would they embrace the Bitcoin Core or XT? Would it work for both chains?
