Oh, i randomly got an idea. How about changing rules so that the maximum paid posts rule is dropped for users that have a post quality above B? NO, of course i only ask out of ulteriour motives. I think it might be worth it. It would be like having an additional signature campaign, though only with quality posts. And for the same price that the normal campaign pays to non quality posts too. So if someone posts too much and drops lower than an A-rating, then he will get punished. This will ensure that only quality is posted. Edit: Another thing i think would be good is to add an estimate about posts that wont will be counted. I guess the counting of posts, that are too short or in a thread/subforum, so that they doesnt count, is done automatically. Having that number would be helpful sometimes. I know though theres no reward for you in it.

I want to ask that though constructive posts in the Lending board counts, however is a lending request (that also counted as a post) also counted as a constructive post? Thanks!
Edit: Also wanted to ask that, will too many posts in the same thread not be too good?

I know though theres no reward for you in it. Maximum posts is placed so that, it discourages making posts solely for the campaign payment to a good extent, which is good for the forum. It also helps to estimate the budget for dadice (not currently required, but still it cannot be ruled out), and avoids any bad situations. Only a limited number crosses the 100+ mark, so only very few participants actually benefit. Me and bf4btc will get into a kind of .. well. dilemma about whether to give someone a B- or a C+, A- or B+ (the border rating) which makes all the difference for the participant. We'd like to place as little judgement as possible on the payment a participant gets (I feel the rating is subjective and shouldn't be given any bigger role), so I am not sure such a rule change will be taken up. (me not supporting that, he he ) No, even the short posts are not ignored. To be frank, I don't think a formula can identify between a constructive post and a non-constructive one. A meaningful short sentence (or a couple of words) with a purpose should be counted, and we are trying to make it as fair as humanly and feasiably possible. All the posts are shown, since I can't actually guess how many posts will be counted in advance. The counting is done manually, and the rate is different for every participant. It is also very kind of dynamic, and even if we make an estimate with say past rates, it could as well be wrong or misleading, difficult for improving participants and completely impossible for new participants. I tried to add a column with past ignored per cent post count, which ended up making many cells as "Loading", so I removed it. I will add it again tomorrow, with just the values. Thanks for the input. I will ask dadice of his opinion. ndnhc

Yes, it will be counted, as long as the request is made just once. If you make multiple requests of the same loan on different threads, it might be counted as just one in certain cases. Depends on how often the posts are made in the board. In your case it (at least most) will be counted. By too many posts, I meant some 25+ posts in a single thread, usually someone offering loans, and may include someone sharing sports picks etc. It doesn't include a temporary thread (like loan request), asking about something, etc., a popular thread, with enough replies between each posts, lol. Pretty difficult to explain..

I just found that one of my qualifying post in a topic, which was posted in the Gambling board, is moved to the Invester-based Games board, which is not counted as stated in the rules. Will this not be counted or be counted?
Edit: Just found my another post at Meta have moved to Off-topic with the topic.

When the managers count the posts they will see that you posted in off-topic x2 and will not count the posts, not really a big deal unless you are only posted for payments in which case I would say be careful.

No, it won't be counted. If a topic is moved by a mod to another section, the topic will be seen as belonging to that one from the beginning (as if misplaced). The posts will be seen in the Off-topic section, so it won't be counted.

ndnhc... can you say when exactly the postcount is sat back for the next week? Tuesday on which time and timezone? Last time the postcount wasnt zeroed for a longer time after it. It would be better if the postcount could be zeroed out instantly when you did the snapshot.
Can you do this?

Hi, There are some common misunderstandings here. The post count is given only for your reference. There is no real need to update it right now, before the escrow payment is released. If I change it now, there is a lot of self-referencing involved, which will break down the spreadsheet. When I update it does not matter, be it rank, or post count. Simply, 1. If your post was made before your posts were counted, it will belong to this week. 2. If your post was made after, it will be counted from next week. I take the final post count of the previous week as the starting post count for the next week. So, whenever I do it, all posts are taken into account. In your case, for example, the final post count was 5301 for this week. So, the posts from 5186 to 5301 was counted for this week, while all posts from 5301 will count towards next week. That is, if I reset it now (5302 atm), it will show 1 post not 0. Hope I clarified. Same with rank level, whether I update it tomorrow or on Monday, it makes no difference (unless post count and activity is equal ie. er.. activity is not fully used) Thanks ndnhc

So i have to check the post counts tab. When there is the new end post number then i know you already counted the posts and all further posts go to the next week. First time i got 100 posts. Rating A1 first time too. Too bad arallmus hold his winning streak.

Happy with this signature campaign, what we earn each week adds up in the end. Congratulations on the top quality posting, I'm aiming for an A2 next week maybe.
