Probably never, lol, I don't know but definitely on the first date. Girls don't like tech nerds, but they do like money. Probably mention bitcoin when she asks you where your money comes from.

We didn't get around to Bitcoin. We spent most of our alone time talking about cold fusion. She was disgusted because the progress has been so slow on lattice assisted nuclear reactions. I said cold fusion will never work in a practical application. She called me a worthless bastard, threw her drink on me and left the restaurant.

As it happens, yes I did mention Bitcoin on a first date. Obviously didn't go into geeky tech details, but just the revolutionary, innovative, somewhat anarchistic aspects of it, how I believe this is gonna change the world just like the Internet did, etc.

Here's my take on it: women generally like emotions (I get all passionate when I talk about Bitcoin), men with vision, men with money, men who believe in something and stand up for it and take initiative. So as long as you avoid a logical, factual, technical conversation, see how Bitcoin actually works great in a dating context?

By the way, this was over a year ago and she's still my girlfriend.

Smart. Very Smart.

I've considered using a similar approach, the fact bitcoin could take over the world and change it just like internet did and being a pioneer is pretty fascinating to someone that has never heard about it. Let's just hope the price doesn't lag begin so we can say quick "see, i was right", that is an insta pickup, specially when she realizes you are rich now lol.

Well, the girl partner never care about the name of the currencies, they just want to know how they can encash it or how to draw from the ATM's, and get exchanged in hotel lunch and dinners. Do not waste the time on explaining digital coin or cyrpto currencies. If you offer these explanation as a Job, in this case they would be curious to listen.

the short answer is : it depends! Cheesy

if bitcoin price is through the roof, i mean somewhere around more than $1200 and looking up, and also i have a lot of bitcoins stored by then, i would definitely mention it.

it is like saying i bought a lot of apple's share when it was cheap, and now i am wealthy through my investment.

Hmm... maybe no. I think there are no many girls like to hear about technology setup. Even i mention it, maybe she won't understand about it.

If you are just looking for sex then this is maybe a good idea.  If you are looking for a potential relationship its not such a great idea.  Idealy you want her to bbe interested in you and not your money.  Its ok to show you are a litle succesful in your actions Smiley

Expert advice, haha, any idiot who is on a date with a girl should know that bitcoin isn't the first thing she'd be interested in. Tongue

no i didnt also it is better to avoid it i guess, only will mention it if we were talking about technology in general.

but i dont think is a good practice to focus it on something like BTC in your first date Tongue

IMHO #1.b of suspects, Hal Finney is/was S.N.
