If they have something to back up their claims then they might stand a chance of being taken seriously. Without any recent news to back any statement up they will have no effect. Perhaps if someone announces a piece of news it might speed up the effect the news would have had anyway. That's about the best chance a thread like this has to be taken seriously.

Other than irritating people, I seriously doubt it. even though most people have a real fear of losing even a small amount of money, posts like that are so transparent that even the most frightened investor would probably ignore it.

Besides, I really doubt that FUD like that is designed to do anything except irritate people. All the OP really wants is a reaction, and he got what he wanted.

that's what I figured. these kinds of posts look like just trolling and wasting time. maybe they get a kick out of it by spreading FUD.

I am sure that no one in his right mind would fall for something like this. some people might get anxious by seeing something like this but I doubt anyone would act on it.
