Hi, I have been selling bitcoins on Ebay for a while using PayPal as a payment method. I wish to try and sell here too.

In order to minimize fraud and chargebacks, I have a 7 day waiting period before sending your bitcoins.

Minimum purchase is 0.1 BTC ($25)
Maximum purchase per person is 4.0 BTC ($1000) per month (state law here)

If you are interested, please send a personal message to get my PayPal handle.

Edit: 7 days (5 business days)

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I know PayPal is more convenient and maybe people keep all their money in their PayPal (Dear God I hope not)
But it seems that it might be quicker and easier for a buyer to use Coinbase or some other service linked with their bank account. Only takes 3 days for my Circle deposits.

You are correct, but some people don't have Circle or Coinbase accounts. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to sell on Ebay for spot + about 20%.

Hello, are you willing to use escrow?

In theory "yes", but who do we both know that we can trust?

I am willing to trust Roger Ver, but I am not sure he is still doing escrow or how much he would charge.

PayPal is actually a form of escrow and they always side with buyers on chargeback claims. Even with dual proof of delivery (blockchain tx and a mail delivery), they will still side with the buyer. I have to send them a demand letter & file a small claims case to get them to be honest and release my money whenever I have a dispute.

Ognasty / DevtheDev / Blazedout anyone of those would do the escrow. I'd throw my name in but...

PayPal is not a forum of escrow, and you should not use this excuse to send PayPal funds first to a seller. PayPal only protects you when physical goods are being traded, and they almost always side with the buyer.

Not only that but you are also risking that the buyer is using stolen PayPal funds
