I have this idea after reading about a mining light bulb.  Why can't we make our weapons mine?  Is a mining AK-47 a good idea?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

another hylarious thread by you, i actually like it, sometimes it's good to make funny thread and not be always too serious for any aurgment...but you need something that connect it to internet and a powerful battery to replace the lack of electricity

it seems unworkable, but you can do it in a funny way, for example for every bullets you receive 100 satoshi or 1k

Just use the cyclic action of the bolt to power a small generator.  The more rounds you fire the more juice it generates... Lol

At 20+ cents a shot even if someone managed to turn the small amount of friction or heat into something it would be most expensive electricity ever.

I would have not guessed this but if you would have bought pallets and pallets of ammo 5 years ago, you could sell them now for a pretty nice profit.  Depending on caliber easy 2x and on some 4x your initial investment if you did it just 5 years ago.  If you look at this ammo going up in past years it quite amazing.

Why you gotta bring seriousness into an obviously silly thread?  Besides, any serious ak-47 miner would obviously own his own press and make the ammo! Grin

I know it's a silly thread.  I was just putting out there the cost's I'm not here to stop the fun Smiley.  And telling how some made quite a bit from ammo just holding it, which is a very odd investment.   I know getting my degree never once did any of my finance classes say go buy shells and hold for 3-5 years Smiley

I'm glad you did Cheesy

I personally think an AK-47 manufacturer should 'bite the bullet' and start producing them.
