I'm surprised to see no talk around here of the recent 'CryptoParty' phenomenon which has been spreading largely via Twitter.
see 'CryptoParty goes viral':
http://www.scmagazine.com.au/News/314275,cryptoparty-goes-viral.aspxRecently I attended the Sydney CryptoParty, which mainly discussed Tor & GPG - but I did chat to a couple of people who had heard of Bitcoin but didn't really know much about it. It seems like it would be the sort of crowd which would be interested in Bitcoin presentations and discussions.
Mat Holroyd (Founder of BitPiggy -
