I've been doing a few of these "offers" where they have you put in your bitcoin wallet ID and after you do the offer they send you some tiny amount of BTC for completing. I understand that they wait some time before they send it out to reduce transaction fees but it's been over a day now and I have yet to receive anything? I'm using the standard bitcoin program and it's up to date on the blocks.. I'm not sure if I'm missing something here?

be careful, im not sure how they could do anything... but websites/posts like that could be phishing attempts to get at your coins. don't download any 3rd party software or click on links offering things that seem "too good to be true" involving btc.

scammers err' whur.

They aren't neccesarily scams, there are a number of pages who give out free mBTC to visitors. It might be because your client is buggy.
