yeah, also we have a 3rd carrier en route to the gulf

one of the ones already there is on its last cruise ever before decommissioning

October surprise anyone?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

oh good, politicians are successfully selling another war to all the belligerent idiots.

I love how for the past few years all I hear is bitching about how we were 'tricked' into invading
iraq, about how osama bin laden wasn't even there, about how we were fed lies about nuclear weapons
in the country, about how there really wasn't a threat anywhere in that region. And here we are, just a
few years later, and everyone and their mother is ready to go to war with the most powerful country in the
middle east because a few republicans told them we need to...and this is really the best part...make a
"preemptive strike to ensure the safety of america".

All it takes is America to lead the charge and all the other nations will follow suit to get their slice of the ever-so-oily pie.

As an American, I agree.
