How to grab audio from youtube music videos

Hi all,

I'm a bit out of touch and would like to know the best way to grab audio tracks from youtube so it can be copied to cd. Is there any freeware / shareware software available that works. Heard and bookmarked some great mixes recently, would love to have them in my car .

Any advice much appreciated .

Iam use keepvid to donlowd youtube
and save it to mmc that simple than cd

you should probably use listentoyoutube.com just paste the url of the youtube video in the space provided, after you doenload it (the audio) you can just burn it to a cd

I'm just an old time raver that loves decent dance tracks to play back in my car and van on my loud stereos .

I love old school music and new too, will dance to anything...

Go to chrome extension and search youtube to mp3 and install it . Now you will get an option whenever there is a youtube video to convert it to mp3 . To youtube video download easier , just replace "http://www." with "ss"  before youtube.com . You can also do it on cellphones . Remember you will have to get the url of the video which you would like to download.

This is pretty much easy to do, however I do not recommend it depending on your preferences. Converting videos (especially using all of the mentioned methods) will yield mp3's which are very low in quality.
Since I've been working with music in my past, my hearing notices these things and I can't handle it. The best converter that I've used in the past would be; http://www.clipconverter.cc/
Downloading the audio via other methods is usually much better.

And yes, I think the above tool is the best for YouTube to audio. However, one downside is that you can't convert really long videos to audio.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions I will get round to trying them . Sorry for the delay replying, my internet connection has been really bad / non existent last couple of days. Just had a telephone engineer out to replace some wires damaged in a storm, fingers crossed that's fixed it.
