Ive got a few domains for sale and i wouldnt mind selling them for BTC, as BTC is easier to get into dollars here in NZ..

Any recommendations for sites that allow you to post up with domains for sale?

Thanks Smiley

I have not heard about an domain auction site accepting bitcoins, but I did find an auction site which you can try if interested. The site is bitmit.net.
I have not used this site before and I just found it while searching a bit in the internet.

Why not sell for cash and then exchange? A domain is bound to fetch more on the free market than if it is confined to just a single currency.

Location, location, location.

If you are selling domains names (of general interest, not Bitcoin-related ones), then to maximize your earnings you sell them where there is a market for them.

You might publish a list here just to see if there is any interest, but don't restrict your exposure just to Bitcoin compatible marketplaces.

That being said, there is a Marketplace forum with a Goods board, (I think domains would be Goods, and not Services).

There is also an Auctions, if you wanted to try that.

If you also accept non-BTC than either flippa.com or sedo.com are good places to start.

Have had several successful domain sales with sedo, would highly recommend.

Im not going back to Flippa, and i would recommend NOT going to flippa.

The site, - flippa.com shows you oh yup - List your website, there is no mention of fees or costs...

Then once you setup your site for sale in flippa, OH LOOK LETS SILENTLY PUSH THE USER TO THE CHECKOUT FOR $29 USD.

lol........ What a silent scam.

Sedo has fees as well, however they are not presented until you actually have a buyer and are ready to do the sale. Parking & listing your domain for sale are completely free there.
