Hello

In order to better serve our customers, BitCurex.com is undergoing maintentance and will be unavailable in a few hours (<- thank you Stephen for that tip)

We were going to move the engine to a new more powerful servers, at the end of this week, but today our main server had a different opinion on that. So we decided to move to a new machine now.

This will mean that up to 72h while the new DNS propagates trough out the network, the exchange will be operating on a temporary domain bitcurrex.com.
Attempts on getting to pln.bitcurex.com and bitcurex.com will redirect to this temporary domain.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Best Regards
Bitcurex.com

EDIT:

The migration is in progress... will be back in a few hours.

Hello

We are sorry to inform that bitcurex.com and pln,bitcurex.com will be back online later today.

We were going to move the engine to a new more powerful servers, at the end of this week, but today our main server couldn't hold it. So we decided to move to a new machine now.

Pro-tip.  Some automated bots will take the first sentence or part of it and relay that as the message.

Anything that starts out "We are sorry to inform that bitcurex.com ..." is quite scary to read, especially with the recent security breach that shuttered your competitor.

Starting out the message another way (below) says the same thing and might prevent unnecessary heart palpitations by your customers.

"In order to better serve our customers, BitCurex.com is undergoing maintentance and will be unavailable .... "

Right. I don’t wanted this to sound that way. As I was saying earlier English is not my native language. Thank you very much for advice. I will correct that immediately.

The migration is in progress... will be back in a few hours.
Quite a few..  Any further estimate?

Sjå https://bitmynt.no for veksling av bitcoin mot norske kroner.  Trygt, billig, raskt og enkelt sidan 2010.
I buy with EUR and other currencies at a fair market price when you want to sell.  See http://bitmynt.no/eurprice.pl
Warning: "Bitcoin" XT, Classic, Unlimited and the likes are scams. Don't use them, and don't listen to their shills.

Hi

It was more than anticipated, Bitcoin blocks are still verifying with the wallet. 400 more left to go its going slow as, very slow. In last blocks there was many small transactions (such as 0.0005 BTC in) which lead to this delay.
Many users are depositing small amounts and this is the course.
And we are verifying the to be 100% sure everything is fine.

The PLN currency is UP and running.

Please a bit more patient and once again sorry for that long unpredicted maintenance.

We did not planned this maitenance. It was going to be later this week, but now we moved to a new more powerful machine.

Best regards

I tought so too, that DNS takes a while.
And its true, but it depends on ISP, One ISP will update them like in seconds, and other ISP will update them in 3 days. I was suprised too, but this actually happened when we started the bitcurex.com.
On my ISP it was working, on others didnt.
The longest time it took was about 72 hours.

Best Regards
