I have a few bitcoins and am going to buy a few more in a day or two. Will have some 10+ Bitcoins then. I wanted to know which is the best investment option where I can invest my bitcoins and earn some profits as their is no point of just holding them and let them stay dead in my wallet.

i can't see much , besides shorting or investing in some hyip, there is also altcoin, but they are even more dangerous

otherwise you can try with some services that offer a loan system, but those are also far away from being free of risks

I wouldn't look for anywhere to invest them on this forum, there are lots of scammers offering ways to grow your bitcoins.
Maybe you could go to the marketplace section & look into providing people loans with interest decided by yourself although make sure you use escrow if you do that as again there are lots of low lives who default on loans etc.
Personally I just HODL & hope for the price to increase, I'm not brave enough to try & be a loan provider for fear of getting screwed over.

What's wrong with just holding them? If you 'invest' them you could very likely lose them all or a lot. The easiest and safest way would probably be to just day trade but personally I would just buy and hold them for a couple of years and I''m sure you'll have made much more this way than just day trading or investing in some probable scam.

As I said, I have ~10 Bitcoins so by this I will make some 300$ which sounds great. I might explore LocalBitcoins and post some ads soon.

I am seriously against altcoin investments as they are barely profitable. The best you can earn from altcoin investment is when you buy altcoins as soon as they hit an exchange, buy as much as you can at that point of time Smiley

Naah, gambling doesn't sound good to me. I gamble only occasionally and only small amounts which I can afford to lose, double them and withdraw the profits and so on unless I bust.

I wouldn't risk 10BTC gambling around. Also my luck isn't lucky Tongue

for everyone that is lucky enough to do this, there are ten who have lost 4 btc, not what i would call the best investment

usually the best investments is the one with the highest profit and the lowest risk(the best ratio between those two), gambling isn't one of these, because it has 1:1 ratio

there are some pump groups, if you can follow those closely and be ready when they start to pump something, money are guaranteed

i found this for example, yesterday they pumped ktk http://fairpumps.net/blockchain-pumps/ by 300% or around that

holding bitcoins is already an investment, but as you probably already know is that just holding them is not enough for these people. they want to at least double their coins within a few weeks.

No, I don't have any intentions of doubling my bitcoins. Even if I earn 1-2% every week, this is good for me and will be profitable in a long run as I have no intentions of selling them this year.

Never invest in anything and lock all of your bitcoins in offline storage. Never try short selling or gambling. You could lose all your money. The risk is just not worth taking. Right now, I have a feeling that the BTC has bottomed out. Hold out for some 12-18 months more, and there is a very good chance that you'll receive some hefty returns.

There's no chance am going to gamble. I have kept my bitcoins in different addresses and an offline wallet. I am sure the price will become 1.5x times of the current price after halvening. Will get some nice returns of my investments at that time. I just thought that it would be nice to unvest a part of my coins in some risk free things to earn some minor amount of bitcoins.

If you open an account at an exchange like bitfinex you can lend your bitcoins to someone for a tiny amount of interest. Bitfinex's system ensures they have to pay you the interest and return them. However you could only earn a tiny amount by that method.

It is very unlikely that you'll make any profit by trading at LocalBitcoins. Their buy price is lower than market rate and sell price is higher than market rate.

1-2% a week is a lot. If someone is offering this, you will get REKT.

Buy and Hold !!!!

You could play with 10% of your stash, try trading, try lending to finex or p2P (bitlendingclub...), but risk is high that you lose what you play with.

He cant use 50 if he only have 10.
Would your theory fail if he would use only 5 BTC?

Buy bitcoin and hold it is a investment, and a very risk investment.
You want to invest your bitcoin is more risk than that.
So just hold it.
