I have a few bitcoins and am going to buy a few more in a day or two. Will have some 10+ Bitcoins then. I wanted to know which is the best investment option where I can invest my bitcoins and earn some profits as their is no point of just holding them and let them stay dead in my wallet.

What's wrong with just holding them? If you 'invest' them you could very likely lose them all or a lot. The easiest and safest way would probably be to just day trade but personally I would just buy and hold them for a couple of years and I''m sure you'll have made much more this way than just day trading or investing in some probable scam.

holding bitcoins is already an investment, but as you probably already know is that just holding them is not enough for these people. they want to at least double their coins within a few weeks.

No, I don't have any intentions of doubling my bitcoins. Even if I earn 1-2% every week, this is good for me and will be profitable in a long run as I have no intentions of selling them this year.
Do you realize that 1% a week is 67% a year? 2 % a week is 180% a year.
Sorry, but when your math is that bad, you shouldn't invest in anything. You seem like the kind of person, who will get scammed pretty fast.

I just thought that it would be nice to unvest a part of my coins in some risk free things to earn some minor amount of bitcoins.

There are no "risk-free" investments as far as Bitcoin is considered. All the investments are uninsured, and are not licensed or validated by the governmental agencies. If you want to invest with your coins, then you must do at your own risk. If something happens and you lose all of your coins, no one will come to your help.

Why take the unnecessary risk? If you can afford buying at least 10 btc, you can consider yourself pretty well off and I'm sure earning a few more btc on top of what you are having wouldn't matter much for you isn't it. Believe me, i lost some once and There's nothing more demoralizing than to see a few btc going to the drain for some bad investment decisions. Just leave it sitting idling.

sell at 250
buy at 220

use 50 BTC to do this.

As I said, I have ~10 Bitcoins so by this I will make some 300$ which sounds great. I might explore LocalBitcoins and post some ads soon.

It is very unlikely that you'll make any profit by trading at LocalBitcoins. Their buy price is lower than market rate and sell price is higher than market rate.

then buy there more bitcoin and sell the same in another excahnge, with higher price like btc-e

Buy bitcoin and hold it is a investment, and a very risk investment.
You want to invest your bitcoin is more risk than that.
So just hold it.

yeah you're just asking for trouble, by doubling your total risk

Do you realize that 1% a week is 67% a year? 2 % a week is 180% a year.

1-2% not on the sum of the total(1% of 10 btc, + 1% of 10+1% ecc..., ) but on  the initial investment, so calculated on those 10 btc only

the best investment option is not to lose these coins or get hacked. so make sure you are safe here  Wink
(maybe a hardware wallet...)

Bitcoin and Litecoin is all you need.

I find a couple of things like lending in the lending section as you can hold a colateral in return and have a safe investments. Most of the other forms investments with bitcoin are very risky for bitcoins.

Just keep them, and let them stay dead in your wallet, like you said. Maybe this is the best option, instead of losing portion of it, or all of them.

no.

It does not surprise me to see no valid advice. I have few BTC and I do not want to gamble them. I decide to keep it, but this will not help to increase value. The whole economic is based on fact to put "money" to work.
I do not trust my luck, I will not gamble.
I do not trust cloud mining as I already invest in some and lost.
I have one positive experience investing in casino.

Any other idea?

How is there no valid advice? And how will holding bitcoins not increase their value? I think bitcoins will be worth much more than they are now 1-2-3 years down the line.

If you are looking for a long term investment you can just hold it, you never know what the price of bitcoin will be in next 5 to 10 years, 1 bitcoin could be worth several thousand dollars, many people squandered their early bitcoins, most from early adopters and only to be shocked to see when the price had skyrocketed.

if i were you i would divide my coins into many portions and do different things with them. how big any of the portions are is up to you and what you feel like doing.

i put the biggest portion apart in a cold wallet, and secure it to hold for long term investment. for using or selling when the price is higher.

i would use another big portion for trading, you can do this either with bitcoin < > fiat or bitcoin < > altcoin. whichever you prefer and you know you can profit from.

another portion but a small one, can go towards lending. i think the best place is here on this forum in lending section and only with collateral so you don't risk losing your bitcoins.

many people would suggest gambling as a means to earn profit. but as far as i have tried gambling, i found it a means to lose money not earn anything.

well as per my experience to earn bitcoins with less risk i am investing in altcoin coins pos only, sometime it goes up to more than 300% in few days if we choose wisely and keep eye on that to let know what is happening there than we can make safe exit from this ship otherwise it can be much risky if hold them for long time to wait for more rise of price.

Trading can be profitable but you need high amounts to make decent profit. There is a risk of losing if you do it wrong but if you do it right you can earn a lot. Gambling is even more risk than trading.

well as per my experience to earn bitcoins with less risk i am investing in altcoin coins pos only, sometime it goes up to more than 300% in few days if we choose wisely and keep eye on that to let know what is happening there than we can make safe exit from this ship otherwise it can be much risky if hold them for long time to wait for more rise of price.
Altcoins are where the biggest % change (profit) are at. Bitcoin is one of the more stable coins.

the problem with trading bitcoin now, is that the swings are so slim that you need to invests a big amount, you need to move large volume to do anything, or you are making pennies only

it's just a whales feast now, casual traders can't really enter the market in this condition
