The best investment option is cold storage.

Too many thieves, scammers, and hackers are out to get your btc.

Keeping 10 btc on an exchange for trading is hit and miss. Making money on the highs and lows is not as easy as it sounds. Then you always have the risk of the exchange getting "hacked" and losing your coins.

You are guaranteed to lose your btc trading altcoins, cloud mining, or gambling. Too many sharks and whales out there.

I have a few bitcoins and am going to buy a few more in a day or two. Will have some 10+ Bitcoins then. I wanted to know which is the best investment option where I can invest my bitcoins and earn some profits as their is no point of just holding them and let them stay dead in my wallet.
I think the best way is to start trading. but you have to accept the risks and be able to know how to win in the market and reach profit.
also you can start lending people to get some more profit out of your coins.
if you like, you can create a faucet or a bitcoin related website and accept advertisements and earn money that way too.

How hard is it to create a faucet for bitcoin?  Is there a web template/script one could use to set this up?
Thought about creating one for my friends, to get them introduced to bitcoin.

Thanks in advance!

This seems like strange question from an early adopter - 2011, you should know all/most of the investment options open to you after being around for this long  Roll Eyes

You seem a bit newbie if I am honest, no offense.

To answer your question though alt coin trading had been good to me and even though it has slowed down there is still profit to be made investing in them, you could put a couple of coin to the side and learn how to trade BTC/USD which is much better than just leaving them in your wallet doing nothing.

You could even invest in cloudthink.io I hear that is a good investment why not try it?

we all learn don't we, i have done almost everything given in suggestion, i am just checking had i failed to catch any new latest trend that is picking up, though i am an early adopter, it is either adapt to newer things or perish, already learned this lesson in a very hard way.

The best investment method i think is trading. But you must know about market price before you try it. You can hold your BTC for several weeks or months than you look market price. The other way is altcoin trading. It's faster than BTC trading, but it has high risk, so i don't recommend it. The last thing i want you to know, be careful when you choose trading site or you'll lose your BTC Wink
i want to add that with great risk comes great rewards. especially now that bitcoin market is stable and boring, altcoin market is a good choice for getting some good profit out of it.
of course it is not easy and not for everyone to jump in and start profiting, it is a good way to double or triple your investment in a short time.
I am yet to find some decent altcoins, but it seems that many of them suggest altcoins but it comes with a price tag of hefty risk. I am planning to up my investment to 40 btc, looking for the right thing to get a good return.

Yes to learn is excellent we can never learn enough, no you are not really missing anything just the same old scam attempts and get rich quick dreams that fail miserably. Sorry to hear you had to learn the hardway but that can be good news when all is said and done because it is clearly keeping you on your toes and you want to keep learning and adapt as you say, see where it takes you. Your best investments will be from what you find yourself not from what you are told. But.. Of course it is good to get ideas though  Smiley

Invest your time learning how to trade forex and trade in it with btc on 1broker. Will it take 4-5 months to start seeing some earnings? It will be worth it, I can tell you that. Smiley

I noticed that they are advertising this with full members and above. Have you gotten some btc pay out of this yet?  Do they pay you by how many times you post on bitcointalk?  I thought about signing up for one of these ad services once I get established.

Creating a faucet is not a good way to earn bitcoin. You need avertisements on your site to get a positive return . There are already too many faucets and not many are popular choices for advertisements.

it is not as hard as you might think. you can even find the complete site script and just change a couple of things to make it your own.
but the point is that creating a faucet is no going to be any good for you. you are going to lose more money than you earn if you don't know how to monetize your efforts.

Creating a faucet is not a good way to earn bitcoin. You need avertisements on your site to get a positive return . There are already too many faucets and not many are popular choices for advertisements.

you need to create a game faucet, or a browser game that pay people based on their skill, a farming game would be ideal, it would retain their interest high on your site, maybe a game without all the headache about the ads, but a deposit is needed to play and you just take a % of the profit

resolving captcha is boring, no one will stay more than few minutes before getting bored

I think create a new faucet isn't the best way. Why don't we build a new faucet rotator that contain 500 faucets inside? We will get refferal commision from our faucet rotator. Just sitting in home and keep our faucet rotator web alive.

I don't think that there are 500 Bitcoin faucets right now. There may be 20 or 30 of them. And you might need to work 20-25 hours, in order to earn $5 worth of Bitcoins. When I first started collecting Bitcoins in 2012, I used to rely on these faucets. But after a month or so, it became clear that the faucets are just not worth the time and effort.

the only way you can earn a significant amount from faucets is if you can gather a lot of referrals and all those referrals visit the faucet a lot. this way you will have a lot of earning but it is still small. I doubt if you can earn more that 0.001BTC a day this way

Are you sure there are only 20/30 of them? Take a look here https://faucetbox.com/en/list This is only faucets that use faucetbox system. Think about how many pay directly or use paytoshi/xapo wallets. It's crazy how many there are! I was surprised myself.

There are only small amount of faucets are using direct pay system. But there are so many faucets those using faucetbox system. We could get much BTC from that. I think about 0.01BTC if our faucet rotator use a special system that can make people interest.

WOW. didn't realize that there are so many faucets these days. the list contains nearly 500 bitcoin faucets. i always thought that because of the low price of bitcoin, number of people who visit faucets are decreased but i think i must be wrong since this many faucets need a lot of visitors to be able to be profitable.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

Cloudthink.io generally is giving a very high payout but everyone is saying that its a scam and i believe it too. That high payout is simply not possible or else they will pay for few weeks and then shut down or run away so it is not a reliable campaign If you want to earn good and for long run then join the trusted campaign.

I guess trading forex has other rules than trading bitcoins. So whats the minimum amount of money so that you can trade and the fees dont eat you? And once you learned how it works, which amount of money do you need to make a profit of, lets say, 50USD each day?

Can you trade forex with leverage on 1broker too?

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.
