dude, nobody is going to out themselves like this

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

As far as I can thrown them.

Help me out: is that a yes or a no? No-one (sane) trusts anyone (let a lone some vague entity) unconditionally.

(O wait, I also trust them to royally fuck up.)

Well trust is a vague term

So lets go through the list (I'm an American btw)...

Do I trust my government to do what it promises? Nope...

Do I trust my government to be transparent on non-national-security issues? Nope...

Do I trust my government to place individual rights and freedoms over money? Nope...

Do I trust my governments various parties to not sell out to corporations and media organizations? Nope...

Do I trust my government to give us factual information on the wars we are involved in (such as # of civilian casualties on both sides)? Nope...

I think ima vote no...

I trust my government to make poor decisions based on the whims of the corporations and special interest groups that pay for elected officials to get into office.

I trust my government to make the rich wealthier at the expense of (and on the backs of) the working class and the poor.

I trust the government to sway the public to vote against their best interests.

I trust the government quite a bit...
