alt coin rise?

since there are not good altcoins launched recently , so it looks like whales started to bump old altcoins that preformed good in past,its good to sell for the guys who are still holding them, don't miss the chance, this price rise is not permanent.

I think Syscoin price will rise soon.

We have an overall uptrend of alts at the moment. in my opinion it is because of really good news around crypto currencies in the news and the economical uncertainty in Greece.

Correct. Seem like in Cyprus last time alt follow uptrend now slowly but constantly this may be the mark for some buying and selling.

Its interesnting to buy altcoins now, or its a bit late and its better to wait lower prices?
I have litecoins and dogecoins. But i don't know if its better sell or buy more ?

I am not sure why altcoin is rising. Maybe something is brewing in the bitcoin market and this is the spreadover to the altcoin market.

Glad to, but I should add a warning: the consensus opinion 'round here is that speculators are causing the rise, not Greeks. So playing this scenario is risky because it might not play out. PSA out. Wink

Yes all movements come with speculators, speculators help to rise faster and to down fast.
My inversion are only with money that i can afford to loose.

Every coin on the Chinese btc38.com has increased in value massively in two waves over the last month.

I don't know about coins on other exchanges.

It started on May the 9th.

Edit: I have no idea who's buying them all or why but it's making a difference in the alt markets and spreading across the exchanges by the looks of it.

Digitalcoin is one of those 2 year old coins, but one that's been continually improved on and supported since the genesis block. DGC is one that's seen a several hundred percent rise over the past few weeks, and continues to climb. It seems to me that established coins having proven to be stable and secure, have the very real opportunity to become the blockchain of choice for some economic function that requires an effective and inexpensive medium of exchange. The possibility that Bitcoin or some altcoin will be used for common every day transactions is remote, but alternative decentralized alternative currencies can very possibly serve countless other purposes. Perhaps this recent rise is confidence in blockchain technology, and the expectation that proven coins will be the solution of choice for use cases that require a reliable blockchain based currency.

Yeah its nice to see the price rise going on at the moment especially for the older coins that have active communities and ongoing development. Digitalcoin has been one of the few coins that has been able to operate with stability and continued improvement over a long time period. Looking forward to this continuing.

Like Samson mentioned it would be interesting to know the who and why behind the price rises though. That BTC38 image shows rises almost right across the board with some coins a fair bit more than others.

New coins or old coins doesn't matter to me. It's just nice to see some btc flowing into the alts once again.

i agree, it is always good to see more bitcoin is getting into altcoins everyday. but i think the reason for this was the stable bitcoin price for the last few weeks. and if the bitcoin price continues to rise i fear there will be so many cash-outs from altcoin market.

Seem that current crisis with Greece is influencing in altcoin rise this may be good like last time with Cyprus.
