Currently 8btc offers "Translation" and "Ad slots" service to the community.

1. Fees
We have been taking donations and distribute them to translators, forum columnists, wemedia authors for quite a while and probably the only site that are still doing this.

We have released over 100 bitcoins along the way. You may check our transactions via:

That’s just part of the history as we implemented multi-sig last year.

2. Translation
We have a team of seasoned translators that delivers on time and with quality. All articles released on 8btc are being scrutinized by editors plus our dear forum users. The latter also got rewarded by forum tokens:

3. Ad slots
We do have ad slots available on the www.8btc.com(news channel) and bbs.8btc.com(forum).

Recently a Chinese dev team(Smartcoin) took advantage of our ad slots and successfully raised over 600 bitcoins for their project, now they are marching to the 1,000 bitcoin target.
