This is in the wrong section and should be in Services I think. This also sounds a bit phishy. Do you have any proof you're from Coin Telegraph? Do you pay your employees or for articles and if so how much are you paying?

I should have said fishy instead of phishy. This just seemed a bit sketchy for some reason, especially as your English is weird as well. Can you give more details and answer the questions posted. You should also move this to the Services sub section (you can move it yourself at the bottom of the thread). Guys!

Do you accept and pay for freelance articles too, or just those by employees? It sounds interesting, but I would like to heard more information about it. If you could say more in this thread it would be good.

I love writing but maybe my standards aren't good enough, seems like its good for you to pick very good standard writers? or people who pick decent subjects and have passion?

This is something I won't mind doing in my free time. Do you need a permanent writers? Or will a freelance writer be sufficient? Also, if you could post your requirements here, that would be appreciated.

Yea I too would like to know if you offer freelance work and what your rates are. I've written a few gaming articles in the past and I'd love to try my hand at this but I don't particularly want to sign a contract or do it long term just whenever I have some spare time.

It is like offering someone a job in your porn video for free with the promise that "we will give you some great exposure....porn stars can make over $100k per year with some of the big companies" Actually that's the pickup line I usually use.

I'm pretty interested. Writing has always been a passion and as it turns out, Crypto Currency (actually, blockchain) is something that admire deeply and I can go on and on about it, so yeah, I'm interested. Thanks for the heads up Cheers

Okay, I want to point out that this person did message me in private with the exact same account with a similar sort of offer, I have no idea whether she/he is legit or not or whether they're even associated with the paper.
I do tend to keep people's private communications private, but honestly I find the timing of this to be pretty dodgy so I thought I should say something, this user hardly ever posts here as an active member.

Ok for those unsure about the identity of op, I'd advise the use of simple logic - There is no immediate way to tell if op is indeed who she claims to be but the name she uses is listed under 'management team' here - http://cointelegraph.com/about#management-teamRegardless of who she(?) is, all that she's saying/claiming is that Coin Telegraph is currently hiring. I'm sure there are countless ways for a devious mind to take advantage of poor, talented, eager, naïve writers but how feasible would that really be here? The contact emails she provided end with @cointelegraph.com, while I could not confirm that they are legit, I doubt scammers would be able to get their hands on such email accounts easily. None of the points I've outlined can prove/disprove she is who she claims to be but someone genuinely interested in her offer would surely at least have a look at the cointelegraph website. Instead of accusing without any proof, you can easily Skype the team or send them an email to confirm that the offer is legit. This is the email I found - drop@cointelegraph.com (don't take my word for it, look for yourself) Lastly for those lame enough to comment on her English, first off she's not a writer, she's on the management team (claims to be). Second, Cointelegraph is a franchise present in several different countries each with their own local version of the website and in their own languages. While English may be the almighty language of the world, not everyone is required to spreak/write it at the level of Harvard/Cambridge scholars. The important thing is that you understood what she was trying to put across. Sorry for the rant.

A newbie with a tag "Official representative cointelegraph.com" something looks fishy. Will advise people to contact directly through the website than rather submitting your work samples to this newbie.

Haha. Some people sadly do try to exploit people like this though (both in porn and regular work). A few years ago I was tried to be pushed onto an unpaid position and they tried to sell it to me as 'it's great experience' and 'will look great on your CV'. I don't think so. People who are cheap or can't offer to pay you will sell the position any way they can. Someone who writes for some crappy site is unlikely to move on to Techcrunch or some other big site without any qualifications.

So this not a paid position. But it's okay, since you'll get " thousands of retweets and shares to your stories."
