I am not sure there will be any 'announcement' at all after reading this ... They just invited people to join them tonight for the 'chat' ... I think, at best, we will get an estimate of when they hope to launch. Well, if nothing else we got a full dollar bump out of the anticipation of the so-called announcement. Either way, lots of positive news piling up that should pay off sooner or later. Keep adding to your stash, folks.

My guess is they say 'we are working with regulators to launch as soon as possible' TBH, I don't think it's really their nature to 'hype' things, which is actually kind of refreshing in this space. I can't, for example, see them standing up and throwing out freebies to an audience (they would probably drop most of them anyway  ) But yeh, lot's of positive things keep piling up for the future, and my 'guess' may very well be proven wrong in a few hours |

The Winklevii has been working hard to get everything ready. Gemini should give a nice entrance of dollars in the market. A lot of people that don't know how to get in will be able to get in now, specially old money.

Hmm. That remains to be seen in the short term. With Coinbase and Itbit there are two legit US exchanges. I guess Gemini will make it that much cleaner with airtight regulation and some gloss but it's fundamentally not that different. It does lay more foundations for future excitement though. |
