This seems to be way below market price. Besides using escrow make sure to ask for a message signed with a BTC address (or PGP certificate) published several months ago on an unedited post.
OP is this your own account from the beginning? You need to prove it's not hacked. Several accounts have been compromised lately.

Seems like it was hacked/stolen to me.  I would recommend trading with caution: use escrow and request signed messages.

Yep, account is idev.Same activity (723) and posts (723).I doubt too that he isn't the owner and he refuses escrow so definitely a scammer!

0.25 is stupid and clearly a crappy scam attempt. 723 activity and same posts is going for around 4 times that asking price, 0.5btc would be cheap for a new Hero account 500 activity. He has turned down escrow so he does not need no more attention. People be cautious and don't let your greed blind you lol

Never buy any account without signed message, It looks like he is selling hacked account after i had a conversion with him, I am not going to act as escrow unless seller provide a signed message.


I suggest any potential buyer to ask for signed message and only buy if seller able to deliver the signed message and prove ownership of the account.

I am glad that people are asking for a signed message prior to buying accounts. There have been a pretty good number of people recently who have started to try to sell accounts that were likely hacked after the recent forum hack.

The person/people who are selling these accounts are even trying to pass off an address/GPG fingerprint attached to the account profile (usually the signature) as an address they can sign from, signing from such an address is useless unless the same address has been posted somewhere.
