how can i make cgminer hold my graphics card at a steady temperature?  I've adjusted the temp limit, overheat temp, and cutoff temp in my conf file but they dont seem to be making any difference.  my current holding temp is set at 70, overheat temp is 80, cutoff temp is 85.  but, my cgminer is regularly going way over 70, sometimes 75-80, and it doesnt detect an overheat or try to throttle the card down.  my graphics card is a msi r9 280x twin frozr 3gb gaming edition.

Thanks.

to stat with you want this or higher version http://cryptomining-blog.com/2586-download-sgminer-4-2-1-scrypt-gpu-miner-for-windows/

CGminer  does not support Scripting mining beyond 3.1 or so i believe

I would post this question here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0  I am  very sure you will get better results there and nicer comments then you might get in the SHA256 mining forums Smiley .
