Reason I ask is that I had my account verified, waited one week for everything to go through and today i tried to buy 9 bitcoins through bit instant. It said that i need to wait 30 days for the bank account to become "established".
My questions:
1. Is dwolla still a reliable way to transfer money into MTGOX?
2. If not, what is the quickest way to get BTC without cash deposit?
3. Since paypal is considered a bad trading method, does anyone want a steam game in exchange for BTC?

Sure hope so because thats what I just setup. I just added some fund to my Dwolla account today, but still am waiting on for it to xfer over. 1. As soon as your verified yes 2. Im still new, but Dwolla seems like a safe bet. If you find out a quicker way please let me know! 3. Not I sir! But good luck with the sale Additional notes: The 30 day wait period seems to be standard. 1. Is dwolla still a reliable way to transfer money into MTGOX? You will need to have your account verified at Mt. Gox before those funds from a Dwolla transfer will be credited to your Mt. Gox account. But once that is true, the transfer is pretty quick (minutes to hours). 2. If not, what is the quickest way to get BTC without cash deposit? There are individuals who will trade with you. The frequent traders get flagged as high risk, just like a bitcoin exchange, but those who do Dwolla transfers infrequently with others can trade with you. Some of them monitor this thread, specifically for announcing funds available for transfer: - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=78512.0Otherwise, now that the clock is ticking you can send those funds back to your bank if you didn't want them tied up at Dwolla until your 30-day probationary period is up.

I have a friend that has money stuck in Dwala because he won't give them his SSN, which is ridiculous.

Did just that. Good to know that I don't have to keep my money on there

I still have 20 days left until I'm verified at Dwolla...I'm looking forward to using it because it's kinda like Paypal.

Is this still a requirement? I had an account then all of a sudden it required that I verify with ID, so I could see that happening to someone with funds in their account. It doesn't seem to happen to everyone, but trading with exchanges seems to trigger that "needs verification" flag.
