What happenning to bitcoin? Why it's not growing while Litecoin does? I know.

Currently LTC going to pump and it looks like it's because some positive news about coinbase integration https://soundcloud.com/whaleclub-bitcoin/panel-interviewhangout-with-coinbase-exchange. In addition, there are some big orders in last days in famous exchanges.

Also, all this discussions about bitcoin hard fork, block size, news related to Gavin and even talks about Satoshi's premined coins reduces bitcoin reputation in the crowd's eyes. Crowd decides. Algorithm, block size doesn't matter if crowd decided to go with Dogecoin, Ripple or Litecoin. I want bitcoin be the strongest but if crowd will be scared beacuse of latest discussions I mentioned above I have to switch  to LTC with the pain in my soul.

I think, bitcoin community should stop FUD and pointless discussions, average people really getting scared because of this, they can't understand is it really bad news for BTC or not. You know, that BTC is ok, but crowd doesn't. All of us should now tell our friends and relatives involved to btc that hard fork, block size talks is not a problem. My friens are really scared with this and want to go with LTC.

but i doubt that it will last, and despites this bitcoin is still the strongest and always will be, altcoin are only there to entertain bored bitcoin traders

Coinbase rumor and litecoin halving in under 3 months? could be moving the price atm.  You also have to factor in how low the price has gone from the previous high its pretty crazy not to expect some pull backs.  Im thinking we will see $3-$4 soon.

Well, the people who would be happy with this, are the people who are spreading the fud. They have their own agenda and it seems to work.

Bitcoin will only be influenced by this in the short term, as it did with all the previous scandals and fud being spread.. then it will show it's true value and the price will jump up again.

What other mainstream features does Litecoin and Ripple have, that Bitcoin cannot adopt, if it wants to or if the developers can reach consensus on?

It's a little bump in the road... just enjoy the ride... and if it's too scary... make room for others.

Crypto is at its infancy, nobody knows which one is going to be the one that emerges like the heir of fiat. There might be a third one that has not yet been released yet that could overthrow bitcoin, litecoin and the other alts alltogether. Bitcoin is strong and litecoin a good second, so it is a safe bet for those two at the moment. Bitcoin has the biggest supporting crowd, the largest adoptation and albeit the FUD spreaders there are more places where I can buy with bitcoin than I can with any other coin.

I do spread my chances, got some litecoin as well, so either way I am confident the future will look bright, so bright we will need to wear sunglasses every day

don't get all excited about it. this is simply another pump that is happening right now. since bitcoin is at somewhat a fixed price it is only natural that investors start pumping another coin, and the next in line is litecoin. all this hype is gonna end and we are going to see the same dead lite-market again.

as to myself as long as LTC is above 0.006 LTC to BTC I'll probably just hold......it is an alternative to bitcoin...so I'm using that as my basis for such...
currently it is at 0.00860 ...so I feel  I have a lot of slack with such decisions of holding (currently) or not

also the whole sidechain issue that has been in the news for BTC comes to mind as well ..no reason sidechains would also not be in the works as
an alternative for LTC as well as  to BTC sidechains etc...If it really is the BLOCKCHAIN moving BTC versions of such for such blockchain useage with LTC

it is above 0.006 LTC to BTC at least (I'm a miner) anyway the boat I'm sitting in at the present time.

anyway like in all things ...we will be the first to know on whatever choice we make.....ie.....buy/sell/hold or ignore the particular crypto... is the right one of not I guess

Litcoin is just a pump coin.
I am not surprise the price of litecoin is rising at recently. Actually lots of altercoin were pumped at recently. With less money can pump them. but it's not easy for bitcoin.
May be it hint that the bear market may be end.

Litecoin may be growing but look at the value of it. Still tiny in comparison. I still hold a little Litecoin and will see where it goes in the future but I still have much more faith in bitcoin.

i think the reason about ltc is growing up is because of halving, lets see how many time this happend.... but im sure it will stop after the halving.

btw about BTC, from my point of view we are very stable and i like it, i dont need to see the BTC at 600$ to think that things are going good, stability is good too and thats exactly what we are getting righ now

It is not just a pump coin, it was conceived way before pump n dump schemes ran high. Litecoin was just severly undervalued as of lately and it is starting to correct now.

I am not going to speculate about litecoins future but a word of warning to anyone why didn't bother to listen to the feed linked above. Charlie Lee did not indicate that litecoin would be added anytime soon and actually insinuated that he believes most of the litecoin interest was in china and he suspected that most of that volume was false.

There appears to be a litecoin pump going on right now with the flurry of posts, some of which has incorrect information, so buyer beware. It may be wise to be prudent and make a decision about investing in litecoin once the pump is finished.
