There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It's on my signature but incomplete because of signature characters limit.
If you aren't new in bct you should know it's impossible to create 31 characters such my address.

Shouldnt it be normal that someone having access to an account can change the signature to an address the owner owns. I think signing messages only makes sense for forum posts that cant be changed anymore. And thats something that isnt possible most of the time, because rare. Ok, cached pages work too.

A signed message should mostly only be able to show that someone can access an account.

Sorry for offtopic.  Roll Eyes

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

you are 100% right on this. If someone tries to pass off a signed message from an address in the signature of the account as proof of ownership then they are trying to scam you and they are probably selling a hacked account.

There have been a large number of instances of someone trying to pass this off recently. Probably because the forum was hacked and password hashes were leaked.
