When I originally purchased it had features to come including "course files (PDF/Text/HTML)".  No mention of upgrade cost when purchased.  Or cost mentioned to get future upgrades.

Changed original purchase agreement.  Suggest staying away at the moment.

I didn't change the agreement because there never was one. You suggest staying away because it's $5 more?
Here the agreement:
All minor updates are free, you will always receive an update if udemy changes something, and updates like adding slideshow support to the other files already supported.
Major upgrades like the ability to download files may be free or paid. There is nothing that states you must buy them and the old version will still be maintained.
I doubt there will be another paid upgrade as there's no more major features to add really.

So you read it as I did aswell?   Sure sounded like they were feature updates to come.

And anwser is no.  With new TOS he made we purchased a "video only" version.  Who knew?

I would have been different if the TOS had stated that it included free updates.

I would also just like to add that I thought this would be a free update, and not a paid update which is partly why I had bought this script in the first place. I know that you never said free updates, but I thought it was just implied that the updates were fully included.

The new update just breaks downloading of many video files! I don't see how $5 upgrade is worth with this.

It was implied as future update.... and cost never mentioned.   Only thing we were told was could not resale, or share program.

I'm guessing next update get's quiz content.  Chances are hes holding it back to do another 5 dollar update.... so if anyone was even thinking about buying (even after reading how horrible seller turned into) I would at least wait till he includes quiz's to not have to pay update.

*Edit mine stopped working... can others confirm if theirs still work or quit?

So let me get this straight! To rip means to extract indiscriminately. Once finished your extracted content should be a 1 for 1 copy.


By definition this NEVER worked! At best it was a partial ripper of courses (videos only). Somehow everyone ignored that because there was a promise to make it actually do what it says in the title of the thread! "Rip Udemy Courses!"

The promise aside, What script! Did you guys get source code? This thread should be called "ollierexx Executable that doesnt Rip"! You can only call something a script if you provided the source code or if it actually comes in code form and you can only call something a ripper if it actually rips! 

Nonetheless..


Finally the promise of making everyones purchase worth while came in the form of an update that promised to included pdf, quizzes and everything else outside of videos. Unfortunately it came with a $5 upgrade fee to make the application do what it was supposed to do in the first place!


What a con! With great resistance, people forked over there $5 bucks for the update.. making their total purchase $15 and a couple days later it all stops working and the OP is nowhere to be found!

Sometimes things are just not in your control and shit happens so that just may have been the case when i last purchased from the op. Also when i posted my last comment i just knew this thread was dead and i thought the op was mia! By no means did i mean to crap on the op's thread especially if he is still selling and all is well! No, no more paid upgrades for a long while, next free update will be slideshow/quiz support.

As your terms were added before without any notice please put exact date you guarantee to.  With how you added update cost "long while" is to vague. Can you tell us exact date?

For what it's worth I'm still trying to decide if I want to update.  Just having hard time because of principle.
