Oppose sticky. It's tailored to recent events and not general enough, poorly-written, and the notice at the top does just as well with an order of magnitude more brevity.

One of the problems with long screeds where someone finds their writing too precious (amusingly, -PR's blind-spot weakness) is that it also tends to translate poorly.

If it had been written with a copy of Zinsser, the Chicago Manual of Style, or even bloody Strunk & White handy, then it might have been a solid candidate for stickyhood.  As it is, it excludes the increasing number of forum participants who do not read English well enough to discard the irrelevant bits.

I particularily don't like the arrogant and belitteling tone.
The post mentions the idiot that money is given to, but then most of the post treats the reader like an idiot.
While i understand such emotional outbursts i do not feel they should be sticky as they represent for the most part personal experience and opinion.

true, but the essence of the topic is on spot.
And given the general mindset on this forum I don't think it's tone is too offensive for anybody.

Stick it even if it might seem to insult actual idiots.

The belittling tone is fine, as, well, most people are idiots.  I think the biggest risk with the tone is that people read it and think,"I am not an idiot; therefore, this does not apply to me."  You can only warn that type of person so many times.

I just think it's rambling, poorly edited, and could be said much more tidily and succinctly.

Sure, that too.
