I would rather suggest a country wide google plus meetup. I believe this was suggested many times before as well. Also seems the last 2 meetups in Kolkatta and the one in delhi weren't too big of a success.
A better thing to do would be think of an agenda to have a meetup about. Most of the people don't prefer coming in to these meetups primarily because they already have sufficient knowledge about it. But last time it got interesting once people started talking about the legal issues that relate to bitcoin .
