That story will be legendary. It already is. If bitcoin hits $1000 usd it'll probably be a story in every major newspaper. If it hits $0.0001 USD then we'll all be buying pizza for 10000 BTC. Now someone please get me out of this newbie zone I got the 4 hours and 6 posts and I need to put some smack down on BitMofo for not doubling my 1 BTC that I sent like 2 days ago or whatever. Peace.
Edit: Disregard I'm a Jr. Member now yay me.

I doubt this purchase made any impact on BTC value.
Roughly $110,000 at today's value. I hope that was a tasty pizza.
That is like saying "Grandpa your an idiot for spending a dollar cause now that could be worth $500 (I am making up numbers for the example)" You have to think, that a year in time, is a long time in the bitcoin economy. Just like 70 years is a long time to hold on to money now. How could one dollar be worth 500 dollars, it will always remain one dollar, unless the value of USD drops to 0 and we're all using bitcoins in the future, in which case your grandpa sounds like a pretty smart fellow to offload it while it still had value. I think you need to call him and apologise young man.

If Lazlo never bought that Pizza, Bitcoins would likely be worth little to nothing still
I think he deserves a monument. Make it a pizza. Make him a hero! http://imgur.com/DHxQM

What about the guy who pays 1BTC for a pizza today? Will he be a dumbass in 10 years when each BTC is worth 10K USD? I also hope to have my BTC * 10K USD ... sweet. F the 401K, I'll retire on bitcoins

No. Did you forget your brain in bed this morning? I also can tell that you don't understand how an economy grows.

Uh no retard, I am an investor in real life, so I know what I'm talking about.
If you had stocks of Microsoft when it started selling its stocks on the first day(let's say a million shares), does it make sense for you to sell it for a pizza? or the equivalent of a pizza? Of course back then it was just penny stocks, but now it would be worth billions.
Bitcoins is just like stocks, you're suppose to take risks and make the right calls then and again.

He failed to make the right call. He failed to predict the market correctly. That does not mean he is a dumbass.

LOL We already can say something like that! Bitcoin was as high as $35 USD per bitcoin, now it's down to $11. But yeah I know it's only going to go up from here. My only problem is the possibility of being hacked, I don't know enough about the software. Like why can TorWallet access addresses and put password locks on them? Does that mean that my one and only address right now can be accessed by TorWallet?
