King Kook John Hagee is back to babbling and spreading his insanity - the latest, he says women who say "God's" name during sexual intercourse should be jailed:

“Saying the Lord’s name in vain might seem petite and insignificant compared to some of the things that are going on in the world right now, even in churches all across America,” Hagee elaborated. “But, that’s precisely the problem. If the shepherds of a faith start doing wrong, what is the flock supposed to do? Follow in their footsteps? I don’t think so. The flock needs to get its bearings and start thinking for itself.”

The pastor reprimanded: “But, nowadays you have people committing sin everywhere you look, including Houses of God, which are the holiest of places.”

Asked how the situation could be bettered, Hagee replied: “Well, we’d have to start with ourselves, as with everything in life. If you’re asking about my personal opinion, there is no greater sin in terms of wrongly using God’s name than women who use it during sex. That is one of the filthiest, most derogatory and sinful uses of the Lord’s name I can think of. If it were up to me, I would put every single woman or girl who does that in jail. That would be a fine example of God’s wrath aimed at what is, in my opinion, a terrible misuse of our Maker’s good name.”

I find it odd that this old man is thinking about sex all the time. In the past few months I have heard multiple comments from him such as this one, which deals with sex. 75-years old, and thinking about sex all the time. Seems to be the typical American evangelical missionary.  Recently another one got arrested in Brazil, for something similar.

You might have posted this as a joke, but similar incidents are likely to occur for real in the future. As exposed by Edward Snowden, the United States spy on almost all of its citizens, and many of the foreign nationals. Given the amount of American surveillance, I won't be surprised if the home department puts spycams or CCTVs in couples's bedrooms and other private places.

Sadly, this is very true. Who even knows with the cameras in computers and phones if we've brought them into our homes and lives willingly and unknowingly. I remember this old man I met 20-some years ago that talked of what then sounded like so much craziness but has all become a reality, now - he mentioned that in the not-so-distant future a new type of television would be made and it would become mandatory for everyone to use them if they wanted tv in their home - the catch - the tv's all contained cameras which placed the govt's watchful eye in everyone's home. When the switch to the new digital tvs came-out and the govt issued vouchers for the analog boxes, this was the first thing I thought of.
