Yeah, the long term down trend has been overshooting for a while, this is just going back to reflecting some of the fundamentals. Early days yet, though, be interesting to see if we break $300 any time soon.

the real question is why so little pump, when after all those good news of many investors that have started investing in bitcoin, and more services which are building more infrastructure for supporting bitcoin?

all the aims of recent news that were pro bitcoin, is still not well reflected in the market

After such a long downtrend it takes a lot to convince people that the rise will last, it usually ends up with returning to previous "stabile" price.
Even now it's safer to expect return to 220 than it is to expect 280 $. If this is to become a true rally, then traders need to cash out their LTC pump, and move that profit back to BTC.

cheers

Not necessary a pump, just  big money moving around in the BTC space. demand is created, driving price up

I wouldnt say that, maybe its cause the new good news like a new exchange is coming?

I dont know, also theres people seeing it as the next halving that has to do with price as well, but thats like long ways from now.

it's great that the price is going up, but we've seen the price go up and always go down again. just don't get too excited already.

all the aims of recent news that were pro bitcoin, is still not well reflected in the market

The market is heavily manipulated and someone is getting stacked up with BTC, buying slowly to not disturb this price stability. But this price stability within itself is starting to look artificial, which leads me to think we are under a long term buy scenareo by some whales.

Market will always be manipulated lol.

So I usually get over the price of bitcoin, and for longer terms I actually just try to sell my stuff for bitcoin now instead of buying it. The more you buy into bitcoin the more risk youre willing and expecting it to pay off.

I Like your speculation Grin Iam very Happy If Bitcoin can be higher than 1300, but That is very very hard to get it, also some person buy Bitcoin and sell it after get 10-20% not want to take risk

Isn't the price increase a good news   Cheesy hope the price stays on top for a long time, it is mainly due to the postive vibe bitcoin  is getting in the last few days, there might be an upward trend after the current increase as the price of bitcoin had fallen significantly in the last few months and right now it is recovering and is on a climb up the price mountain  Cheesy

Newbie question here. Why does the upcoming halving in LTC impact demand for BTC?
