I bought a couple Starbucks cards from the OP. They loaded fine, I burned through the first one and I'm working on the second one. Haven't had any problems. Note: I use the balances on these cards within 2-3 days. YMMV.

Purchased a $50 card and added it to my account (and bought lunch & a box of coffee pods with it) without problem.  Hopefully it will last more than a day but at least spent I what I paid for it.

 If anyone could answer that have them buy you a lottery ticket.  I still have 6 or 7 unused ones going back up to a year.  I have also had many that didn't last long enough to type the card numbers into my account.  Big YMMV.  No one can tell.  

If I get 2X what I paid from it I'm sort of satisfied and all I really expect.  Anything above that is a bonus but I have been able to fully use many of them.  I have been scammed 4 or 5 times (you can see from the "neg trust" I have left) but other than that been pretty lucky.  It's a gamble like the slot machines.  Win some lose some.
