Interesting to know Diddy is aware of bitcoin. Does anyone know if hes a fan of it or has invested in any bitcoin companies? Would be good to have him on board and I know some other rappers like Nas (good) and Pitbull (bad) are involved.

from what i read i found out that the story of the movie is about a tech geek named Malcolm who discovers his true self in Los Angeles, when he finds bitcoin, an anonymous alternative for purchasing drugs.

so in fact they are encouraging us to buy tickets for the movie that only shows the negative side of bitcoin, with bitcoin.

and apart from that Alex Winter, the director of the documentary “Deep Web,” commented on the digital currency being used to purchase illicit drugs as part of the plot of the movie. and claims that "There would have been no Bitcoin without the Silk Road."

There should be a way that becomes a standard in every cinema of a developed country that lets you pay with BTC. When im carrying my popcorn last thing I want is count cash, I could scan the QR with my phone and pay in a second.

You buy pop corn before tickets? I usually do it the other way around. The self-service terminals for purchasing tickets at the cinema seem like a very good platform to implement payments with bitcoin.

Well kudo's for coming up with that pun. It's strange how things like this carry on, even though most people are buying dope with fiat. I guess any bad publicity is still good publicity and the reality is, they started to accept Bitcoin. We take the good with the bad any day. I will rather go watch Jurrasic Park ^Hmmmm^

A$AP Rocky who acts in the movie (I think plays the part of the drug dealer) would be another great celebrity to reach out to - ChangeTip is a bit too spammy though IMO. These celebs need official QR codes now!

I am fine with no deals at all. It is a new thing so ability to use my coins to buy movie ticket is sufficient enough for me. The only potential problem I see is that - if that 'bitcoin' movie would be bad, people will link that with bitcoin. It would not be nice then.
