As far as what should be done with the mined coins. What about a 50/50 split. Half coins burned and the other half used to fund developments?

I would go for the "burn them all" approach

Good idea. I will add this oprion too. And another option can be split the coins tot he first 20 wallets in richlist. Options are: 1) coins will be burned 2) coins will be sold in auction (every holder of XRA will get discount 15%) 3) coins will be used as a bounty for next development. 4) 50/50 split, half coins burned ant the other half used for bounties. 5) Coins will be split to the first 20 wallets in richlist. (except the first one....it is always exchange) Any other suggestions?

I would go for the "burn them all" approach I will create poll for this. Edit: Done.

5) Coins will be split to the first 20 wallets in richlist. (except the first one....it is always exchange)
Any other suggestions?
The first might not be an exchange's wallet, and instead a part of the other 20 addresses above may actually be exchange's wallet, or may belong to the wallet being held offline and then they do not do anything useful for the network. Instead you do not feel that would be more serious and fair reward with an extra, the first 20 addresses that have produced more blocks in the given period of time? They actually do something for the network, they make sure that it works. Extract information of the top 20 staker is not too hard, just count the blocks in the main-chain generated by address. (with a routine ofc) Bye Bye

Burning all the coins generated by the miner will make the coin rarer and therefore more valuable to EVERYONE with coins Let them burn and the benefit goes to all Just my thoughts, a poll would sort it out though

Burning all the coins generated by the miner will make the coin rarer and therefore more valuable to EVERYONE with coins Let them burn and the benefit goes to all Yes and No. It seem to me fair to reward the active user, not just the rich list. Burn the extra would give a better vantage to who have more, even if inactive. But, Of course is just my opinion. Just my thoughts, a poll would sort it out though Right. Probably a wise solution might be a middle way, 33% burned, 33% for development, and 33% for the staker. Bye Bye

New option added to poll. @Remy 33% burned, 33% for development, and 33% for the staker.
Thanks, I voted. And now a bit of electoral propaganda. The following are the data collected in the last week of the top 20 stacker, compared with their position in RichList. The count was made in part automatically and in part by hand, are then possible errors, I propose them as an example only. topStaker From block 30789 (2015-06-27 13:54:58 UTC) to block 52547 (2015-07-04 13:54:54 UTC) topStaker Found 134 Address Counted 21759 Blk (Last 24H 2976) topStaker Total: 26623.569569 Coin 2.526950 Max 1.223565 Average AVGTime 27.80 topStaker Rank : Address Block (Last 24H) RichList# topStaker 1 : RGhrSQ...FE2t1 3077 508 9 topStaker 2 : RPpCTh...4Mhm9 1663 309 24 topStaker 3 : RLV63J...gccRK 1620 289 20 topStaker 4 : RVv7yB...cBPR6 1401 0 2 topStaker 5 : RBqXxB...1Pvj1 1114 186 34 topStaker 6 : RSkk6w...wDYgy 998 0 1 topStaker 7 : RUyWiA...7BUnB 930 215 7 topStaker 8 : RRs1ue...shEmZ 915 0 10 topStaker 9 : RNZbmM...Nef7b 897 163 29 topStaker 10 : RBL4r7...K3RaE 821 0 11 topStaker 11 : RYZ17a...3im3J 813 185 16 topStaker 12 : RCiacP...Fm361 726 153 26 topStaker 13 : RPwKDs...ytXhr 672 0 13 topStaker 14 : RA6azX...6FoTo 656 0 14 topStaker 15 : RPxpin...7cSzo 391 87 40 topStaker 16 : RGtUuJ...dwD9v 340 98 22 topStaker 17 : RX43YY...nnuGP 336 0 19 topStaker 18 : RUkzd1...fRjvz 306 65 50 topStaker 19 : RCRhw1...dkNKV 292 68 57 topStaker 20 : RAUoyq...9vYDt 291 69 48 Top 20 Staker generate 18259 block ( 83.9%) gaining in total 22508.830048
As will be noted in the top 20 staker list, there are a part of the 20 of the RichList, but also other active users in positions further down, until the 57 position, and also the first of RichList, hypothesized to be an exchange, in actually it produces many blocks POS. But despite these important presences, the overall gain of an entire week does not seem high. Bye Bye
