µTorrent has pulled a controversial LiteCoin mining plan from its most recent update to the well-liked torrenting client in encounter of powerful protests. 10,000 Spanish ATMs will now shell out out Euros in exchange for Bitcoin following a partnership with BTCPoint.

How can EpicScale and µTorrent say that the miner was not installed without user permission?
Many other Freeware & Shareware programs do this, but you are prompted to select, if you want the extras to be installed or not.
They sneaked it in there with the client and they hoped nobody will pick it up. Now 6% of Windows users with µTorrent installed, are mining LiteCoin. ^hilarious^
