I mean, the whole point of Amazon wishlist is that you don't know who the buyer is, so can they hold you accountable if it turned out to be a stolen credit card ? Is there any instances where this happened ?
If you used it before; please share your experience.
Keep in mind I live in the states.

Well if the person making the purchase for you is using false information, the only person they have information on is you, the person who received the product and didn't pay anything (as far as amazon is concerned) what do you think would happen?

I don't think that the receiver would get into any trouble, as you said yourself the whole point having a wishlist is you can publish it online and people can buy stuff for you, now if they used illegal means to purchase an item for you, it's not your fault. Amazon should make it difficult for people to use stolen credit cards by hardening the verification process before they allow someone to use it.

I think Purse has an international security check before they let anyone make a purchase, but I could be mistaken.
