By live casino he means the casino which offer live tables, with actual human dealers usually hot girls and to answer your question OP, they usually have higher buy-ins to cover the cost of live stream and the dealer's salary. Try Cloudbet, I think you'll be able to buy-in for $5 but not sure though.

If you are looking for blackjack then there isn't anything as buyin in Blackjack. There is only a minimum bet. And you can just play one hand with 1$ .
