Dear all, I've been a long time lurker here on this forum and have been running a number of mining rigs using 5850's, 5870's and 5970's. I just placed an order on the new bASIC miners on their website and paid using bitcoins which was processed by bitpay. It appears the payment has gone through, but so far, BTCFPGA has not indicated anything on the account I created on their website that the order has been made. I have also tried to use their website's contact system and direct email, but so far there's been no response. So far, only bitpay has responded and I am impressed that their CTO, Stephen, has personally emailed me. I am getting a little bit concerned so if there is anyone who can offer me some insights, it would help. Perhaps I could get a whitelisting on that particular topic where the miner is being made available for sale? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=79637.520Thanks. Regards, C

do not worry if you paid via Bit-Pay your coins are secure and your orders are confirmed.

Hi Tom,
I placed an order an Asic unit on the 4th of September and paid through google wallet. The payment has cleared and was confirmed by google but it is not showing up in my order history on your site until today.
Can you confirm when the order confirmation will be updated on my order history?
Thanks,
Marco

This is the reason we are no longer using google checkout their callback API was not parsing information back to our website properly. However do not worry your order is confirmed and in queue, to check the status of the order simply check your google wallet account, because that is where you will receive status updates thank you

its really not an astronomical amount
no where near what BFL has taken in on pre-orders.
based on the amount of chips that are currently being fabricated if you order now you can still get delivery by December.
thanks

So the bASIC Next Gen bitcoin miner rig will be controlled the same way as the other FPGA rigs right: a laptop/desktop running Windows or Linux controlling the rig and a power supply like was shown in this video [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EoDeOCgJKs]? Or will it be different?
Thank you for the information.

Same mini usb connector only diff in power is we are going with a 12v dc barrel style connector for power this gives people the option to use a laptop power brick it has not been determined if they will be included with purchase as of yet thanks for your interest
