Hey there bitcoiners,
I have decided to give away keybase invites to users of this forum who are quite reputed.
If possible, please mention why it is necessary(you are an escrow, you have imposters etc.
I obviously will have to decline some people these invites(examples: newbies, etc)

Currently have 4 invites left.

what is keybase

Keybase is a directory of public keys and the proofs of who owns them. It is free and open without an API key.

In a nutshell, Keybase lets you get someone's public key and trust it, without meeting in person or trusting a "web of trust."

I would like an invite too. Why: I intend on doing a lot of trading of various digital stuff and would need this for people to trust me.

Even though I'm at 0.00 trust, and there is no indication that any invites are left, but I'll apply anyway.

Why: I've been exploring cryptography as a hobby this summer which brought be back into bitcoin.  I initially studied bitcoin for reasons but fell away due to other items which required my attention.  Now I've returned with interest primarily it the crypto part of the cryptocurrency field.  My interest started in SSL and was frankly horrified at how lax myself and most others were with simple precautions around server certificates.  As I was required to harden some interfaces at my day-job I got more interested in SSL, SSH, PGP and cryptocurrencies.  I've felt that the field could have much wider adoption if there were more "crypto-for-dummies" walkthrus out there.  So keybase is simply the extension of my educational exploration with the end goal of being able to explain this stuff to people over 70 and below 17.

Thx.
