www.faucetbuilder.comBackground:I’ve been following this beautiful faucet world for some time and finally had the courage to build my own a few weeks back. I went searching for a service that would make things easy. There were a few options: - Script services - Usually charge a fee on deposits from 3% to 10% and you need to put money in in advance
- For hire services - People who will build the faucet for you, but you have to pay up to 1btc :S
- API integration - Free and reliable but requires some technical expertise
So after some time I thought there was no ideal solution — i decided to create my own ========================================================================= So I’d like to introduce you to FaucetBuilder, a FREE FAUCET SCRIPT with the following features: www.faucetbuilder.com- Step-by-step script with instructions how to create your faucet
- 6 languages (English, Russian, Spanish, Ukranian, Portuguese, Thai, Filipino)
- Integrates with Xapo API so your users can get paid via email or btc address
- Threshold so your users can choose when to withdraw (avoid dust payments)
- No minimum deposits for your faucet to be operational (just need money in your wallet that you use to pay users)
- Migration guide from other paid scripts (faucetbox and micro wallet)
- Did i say FREE?
Why am I doing this for free?I am always thinking about how I personally contribute to the growth of bitcoin. I think faucets are a great way to showcase some of the best features of bitcoin — micropayments, speed, cross-border transactions, etc… — and is also a way for people to own a small bits of bitcoin without going through an exchange. So… what do you think? I would love your feedback on how I can improve, what to change, etc… Btw, I think I mentioned before that this is all free and I did it as a hobby. If you build your faucet with this or find it useful, please help me by donating some bits

What a cool service! I have my own hosting, and have installed a few basic scripts, so I'm going to go and try this out.
eta: Ooops! I put in a name & eMail, and all I got back was a black page.
eta: worked the next time.

Do FaucetBuilder also support "popular" and "non popular" altcoins other than Bitcoin? PS: Your website should have a title to make it look more professional.

I've thought about doing altcoins but wanted to see if I can get traction with bitcoin only first. There are many things that I think can be improved... like maybe some cool design templates and stuff. ALtho I would need help for that

Can you explain why there is the needs for the withdrawal threshold?
I'm trying to find more information about the dust payments but havent found much info. Isnt it better for the user to withdraw earlier and for the faucet to have a higher withdrawal? That way people take less money out.

Thanks! I just added it. I had it on Service Announcements and the mods moved it over to the Micro Earnings section. Hopefully it can stay in the services. Appreciate your help!

I'm trying to find more information about the dust payments but havent found much info. Isnt it better for the user to withdraw earlier and for the faucet to have a higher withdrawal? That way people take less money out.
So with Faucetbuilder you have 2 options to withdraw: 1. If you have a Xapo account or dont have a bitcoin address you can give your email and the btc gets sent instant without miner fees (even 0 miner fees) so you can withdraw down to 1 satoshi. In other words, the payments does not go through the blockchain, but instead through Xapo's ledger. 2. If you dont want to use Xapo you can enter a bitcoin address and then this payment goes through the blockchain. Since it goes through the blockchain it needs at least 6 confirmations and needs to be above 55 bits. Now you think, well of course the user wants to withdraw as soon as they get 55 bits instead of waiting to accumulate. The thing is that to stop flooding the blockchain and because of the multiple inputs to get something as small as 55 bits, the user who chooses option #2 will pay a higher miner fee the next payment he does. So if you know you are a faucet power user it's good to have a higher withdrawal limit so that you dont have to pay high miner fees. Makes sense?

Awesome! I just made 2400 sat. Looks good and thanks for trying it out. My next move if activity starts to pick up is to work on new design templates. What do you think? If you have some cool faucets that you think have nice designs let me know and i can model them after that.
