To everyone asking for a price of FaucetBOX.com: We've made a decision not to sell FaucetBOX.com to keep the good image of FaucetBOX.com and our company, even in the face of closing.

What a surprise! The project seems to still rise and rise!

So what now with faucet owners will have to ask for another API, or they have to change the script?

New version of Faucet in a BOX script supports ePay.info and Paytoshi, so if these are acceptable then faucet owners don't have to change the script.
I think more than 95% of fbox users would prefer if you sold it to someone who's capable running it, than closing it completely.

"Face" has nothing to do with this Smiley

i agree!

It's a shame that FaucetBOX is closing, it will certainly leave a large hole in the micropayments industry.
It's been a pleasure helping out with FaucetBOX on the forum, and I wish Kazuldur and his team the best in the future!

Wow it just gone two years since faucetbox started on Nov 2014.
It was just in the nick of time too, microwallet.org was in the process of shutting down, faucetbox came to the rescue.

Really sad to see it go, who else do we have.. not epay terrible scammed my satoshis sent from  yannik faucet payments system.
I stopped using the other one paytoshi, 99% of the faucets served malicious adverts, not used them in such a long time, and will never use them again.

No other one to use, so that will be the end of my fave pastime as a faucet junkie, withdrawal symptoms will be hard.  Smiley

And its gone.

I'm really sad to hear that news. Faucetbox was G.O.A.T. micropayments service and closing of it may kill faucet industry. There are no good alternatives, other similar service is far from Faucetbox level and mostly faucet owners will have to close their faucets.
I hope that someone will see niche and will start similar service.

Important news: https://faucetbox.com/en/closing

I saw some friends creat 4-5 chrome profile , all of them open 1 faucet( defult script), after fill all captcha and address (all have same btc address) , they use auto clicker and record all claim button's location and auto click 5 button very fast , i tried that trick and see that faucet send me 3 times.

Hmm... that may actually work when faucet or FaucetBOX.com are slow. We'll try to fix that race condition in next version (r67, as r66 is already in testing - actually it's serious enough that we'll fix that in r66). Thanks for this report! (finally a report with a content)

This is now fixed in r66: https://faucetinabox.com/en/versions
I was long away and didn't looked at it. That's a sad story. I remembered the first micropayment service called Microwallet.org which is obviously still active, after many complaints a new micropayment service called Faucetbox was opened which had much more features than Microwallet. After two years operating, Faucetbox is closing down.
From my personal view, I was at the launch very skeptical but after a time it was grown in one of the best in the industry. Thank you for being honest about your announcement.

I'm also agree in some of your points. I ran an faucet site which got a big popularity and closed down because the revenue is undervalued than a wage of a developer in the today society.
I also got some offers (selling the site) which I denied for a good reason for the next owner. I understand Kazaldur's stubbornness.

Y'all cannot be serious?

Closing because of profit?

Why not just charge more for deposits again? And put some ads on the site? It's no excuse.
 I'd rather pay more for that than have to use xapo or blockchain.

I refuse to use paytoshi after my balance randomly disappeared and they never replied to my support request.

Important news: https://faucetbox.com/en/closing
~Snip~
Sad news that faucetbox is closing many micropayment websites did use Faucetbox for withdrawal. So far this was the best option we had thanks for the great service you guys offered. Still hope you will find someone with a good offer to keep faucetbox running.
Negative. I asked if they're gonna sell it, they declined.

Would love if I could purchase this project.
This is a very sad news and a very depressing news for FaucetBox faucet owners. FaucetBox had done a very great service. But as they say, nothing lasts forever.
They should sell to to you mexicantarget, but IMO, they have plans for their domain because if they have planning on selling it, we should have known before they announce the closing.

"Despite many efforts and great growth FaucetBOX.com didn’t turn into a profitable business and we’re not able to sustain it anymore"
I was never expecting to read something like this, with almost every faucet using their services I thought that they were profitable, what about the alternatives we have?I never used paytoshi or epay.

-snip-
At first, I thought that Kazuldur is getting high profits from his site, but when I notice that the site has very few ads and not so high fees, that's when I started to think if he still getting profits from his site.

You got a point, since FaucetBox has no big rivals in terms of service, why don't Kazuldur continue the site and just charge a high fees. Besides, his very good service should be paid more.
But, maybe he has another plans for the site, that's why he didn't also want to sell it.

Hi, I am not using FaucetBox script for my faucet, but minifaucet script (payouts through FaucetBox). Is it possible to integrate nastyhosts into minifaucet script?

Sure. Try something like this (untested):

Code:
$result = file_get_contents("http://v1.nastyhosts.com/".$_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"]);
$result = json_decode($result, true);
if($result["suggestion"] == "deny) {
    die("Banned");
}

Since FaucetBox is going to be closed down, but script updates would be released in the future, I believe nastyhosts service would also be available. I have been using FaucetBox since it was launched. I must admit that FaucetBox is responsible for spiking the huge faucet user base, regular script updates with anti-bot measures. Many faucet admins were asking to cut down the fee from 2.5 to 1%, guess it has resulted in FaucetBox being shutting down. In my opinion majority of faucet admins would rather choose Xapo or some other new micropayment system than Paytoshi or epay. You have earned a good reputation in the crypto community and I am sure that your future projects would be readily accepted by crypto users Smiley

Yes, as far as I know nastyhosts will still be maintained.
