I feel like the developers rushed out the new core just so they'd have the recognition of being the Bitcoin developers, and so they could put their face on the developers page.

So true.

The fall of Soviet Union started when power struggle began in their core committee. If we can not sort out the impending problem to hold the reign of bitcoin core, the first decentralized digital consensus system will also fail like the communist Russia.

Bitching to the general forum will do nothing to solve the problem. Why don't you go here and see if the issue is known: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues  If the problem is new then make a new bug report. You could also make a thread in dev & tech outlining the problems you've had and let the devs know that way. Being a coder sucks sometimes. Being a perfect coder is impossible.

Bitcoin is losing strength and becoming less secure by the day, and I think it's because running a node has become an impossible task for most users.

True. Running a node is pretty demanding on your computer, syncing with the blockchain is slow, and now consider that there are tons of other alternatives and back in the day Bitcoin QT was the only way to deal with BTC. You have to give incentives to people to run full nodes, otherwise no one is going to bother when Electrum can get you using BTC quickly.

The incentive is only you completely control your keys so it is more secure, and you can do a ton of cool shit in the debug console. That is overshadowed by the major disincentive of Bitcoin Core taking days to synch if you're able to synch at all, and now numerous internal fatal errors that require a rebuild of the blockchain which takes days. Abandonment of core for lite/online wallets is the easiest solution, only people who understand how dangerous that is put in the effort to keep core up and running on their computer.

I don't think the average user is going to care about what nerd stuff you can do on the debug console.
We need a higher amount of people running nodes that is a fact. We can't live off a small % of hardcore users.
