I am requesting 50 Bitcoins to use as leverage on the GLBSE with a total of 2% appreciation paid towards the lender. I will not disclose my planned position because it would be easily stolen and I would be out of a profitable opportunity.

I will assume all legal liability for this loan under international law. I can be found at the following residence and legal name:

Emanuel Ortego
125 Cedar Elm Lane
Georgetown, TX
78633

PM me if you are interested.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi Atlas,

do you have any OTC rating? Or a highly rated ebay account or something to verify your reliability?

Thanks.

I do not have a verifiable OTC account at this time nor an Ebay account. I've done business with Rassah on here. He will probably vouch for me.

I can assure you that even if my endeavor fails, I will pay you out of pocket.

I did borrow 1000 BTC from Theymos a year or so ago but I have no verifiable record of it. I returned that in full plus interest.

there have been account takeovers where a transaction is made without verifying the identity of the forum user.  that's one thing bitcoin-otc gpg authentication is good for to prevent that.  obviously, starting now with a new account doesn't help verify this is the same atlas that had the previous loans, but this will build a trust history going forward.

Well, many would be happy to verify the writing style and political stances on this account as the true Atlas.

However, I fully understand the perceived uncertainty in this case.

Thanks.
